I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone that is passionate about video making. You can explore the surroundings areas with bicycle or motorbike at your own pace while taking videos for the hostel. Jeremy and Phoebe are incredible hosts, so nice, always up for a chat and ready to give you advices. Thank you for the experience!

We loved staying at the hostel: Jeremy, Phoebe and their mom Carol were super welcoming. Unfortunately we felt sick at the beginning of our experience but they were understanding, letting us taking our time to recover. We managed to go around and take videos of the beautiful places around Hualien, with their recommendations on where to go. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for having us :)

The hostel l was truly a home away from home. From the moment I walked in, I knew I made the right choice coming to this place.. The two siblings, Phoebe and Jeremy,, are such kind people who will take care of you and make sure you have everything you need and more. They're always on hand with great recommendations to make sure you don't miss out on all the hidden gems Hualien has to offer.

Very good experience! Recommended!! If you are a good photographer, or love making videos this experience is perfect for you. You have plenty of times to explore the city and the surrounding areas. Nature, lakes, beaches, street art. The hostel is new and clean. The bed is comfy and the shower is hot! The owner is very knowledgeable about the city, where to eat, where to cycle. Super useful.

I had a great time at the hostel in Hualien! I exchanged photos of the area's highlights for accommodation and breakfast, and Phoebe's cooking was amazing. Even though the winter weather was dark and rainy, and earthquakes blocked some trails, I still had a wonderful experience. The hostel is clean and cozy, with a lovely cat. Carol, Phoebe and Jeremy's mom, was fun to hang out with – we had dinner and wine together. Both Phoebe and Jeremy are fantastic hosts and became good friends. Highly recommend this place!

Jermy and Phoebe are the best hosts in Taiwan that I have had the privilege of getting to know and helping out during my stay. Hualien is a hidden gem of Taiwan with much to do and see. I felt at home during my time at the hostel and would stay here again when I visit Taiwan again. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to explore Hualien, make friends, and enjoy some amazing cooking both from the hostel and in the market.
