My experience at WEET was amazing! I learned so much from the entire team and the other volunteers. I improved my English and Spanish, and we worked hard on event days while still enjoying every moment. I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity! 🤍

I loved the team of volunteers I worked with, everyone was so amazing and we became so close. The work was pretty easy and flexible- you only have to work the five days of full moon even if you stay for multiple weeks. Although I had fun, the sleeping conditions for volunteers are really not great. We dealt with no AC, awful toilets (one had no light and the other smelt so bad because the drain was broken so you couldn't shower) and a really dark crowded room. Also the beds are so uncomfortable. If you're not that fussed about your sleeping conditions then i recommend!

I really enjoyed the experience, the work was relatively easy and more intense only during the full moon. However, I have some reservations. We had problems with the room, as the air conditioning and the bathroom were not working properly. We were relocated but it took a few days. The kitchen is not a clean place, so I didn't use it. During the full moon, electronic music played 24 hours a day, making it very difficult to sleep. However, I enjoyed the experience with the team and the other volunteers. Good if you want to party a lot.

I had a lot of fun at Wet! The other volunteers were super nice, and we had lots of fun! However, it would have been nice to receive more communication and a schedule with more notice (the first few days we were there no one knew what was going on). Also, the dorms had some issues, we had to move between rooms a lot because each room we moved into ended up having a problem. Worth it over all tho!

Very nice experience, host very nice and east to talk to. Just wish the communication was better so we could be aware of the work to do in advance :) nice experience and very fun environnement. As say in the description, we only worked during full moon and stil lhad the amazing opportunity to stay in the hostel the rest of the month

I'm not sure how we could make people more aware of the work in advance since it's in the listing on WorldPackers and then laid out in a detailed list in our first message before offering you the position. Then descriptions are posted on the volunteer dorm wall, and a meeting before Full Moon Week goes over all the details and schedule.

This might be something you won't expect of an volunteer position. We had to work for 5 days during the full moon season, which also wasn't really hard. You'll go and promote the Hostel Party in the town, help the staff out at the bar or reception but will have lots of fun with the other volunteers and guests. For the rest of the time I had 95% off time to explore the island :) I loved this place because our volunteer room became a big family which made these 2 weeks the most amazing you can imagine .

Wow what an experience it was definitely fun made some long lasting connections and had a blast throughout my time here. There's mostly nothing much to do until it's full moon week so it gives you time to explore the island and sightsee. The full moon week this hostel transforms from being quiet to full on party for a 5 days straight it's amazing to see to say the least. I definitely enjoyed my time here and this place will always have a special place in my heart since it was my first Worldpackers experience.

Super chill place! All the volunteers were fun and helpful. I was painting murals just after the full moon so I can't speak on that workload or vibe but I had a great time at WET.
