Arthur is the best boss and a great human. It was a pure pleasure to work with him.

I had a really fun experience at the hostel. It's a party hostel, so it was always full on weekends, and I had a great time sharing with guests and volunteers. Orget, the manager, is really cool. For improvement, I believe communication between volunteers and leaders could be better, the volunteer dorm could be made more private for us, and sleep hours should be more respected. Overall, I'm very happy with the experience. The hostel is very well located, just a few meters from the square, the breakfast is great, and the volunteers there are really cool. Thanks for everything!

The experience was really great. The team is amazing and I learned so much from them. Besides, the hostel is a beautiful place and there so many beautiful spots to see in Tirana. They are very flexible with schedules and time, the breakfast included is very good and the tasks were easy an manageable. Thank you for having me

Albania was my first solo trip and Worldpackers experience. The team at Trip'n Hostel was generally kind and welcoming. However, during my last week, I faced an unexpected situation that caused a communication gap. I wish there had been a bit more flexibility regarding the circumstances. Overall, it is a reliable and helpful place for volunteers. Thank you.

This experience was a good way to get to experience life in Tirana. However, the work expectations were seemingly random. The scheduling and hours can go far beyond (or below) what you agree to initially. The actual work itself is not clear as it is supposed to include more than reception work, but this "more" is never explained. During this confusion, the tasks are not explained but instead met with negativity towards your performance. The accommodation for all staff was random, often times we had to move unexpectedly (4 times) to a new hostel or room. Other staff and location are excellent.

Overall it was a fun experience. However the roles we did were not what was advertised at all. We worked at a different hostel to the one we applied for, and we did reception/ bartending instead of party promoting, because they had accepted extra volunteers and no longer needed us at the hostel we applied for. Scheduled hours were not respected which made us avoid hanging out in the common area in case we got roped into working. That being said we had a fun time and the volunteer work was easy and simple. There were lots of other volunteers to hang out with so super social!

Yep that’s fair.

Wade and Brett both did a great job, and it is chaotic here.

Sadly there Is not much i can Say about this experience. The day before my arrival i contacted the host tò confirm my arrival once more, and he readsured me everything was good. The day of my arrival the people working there didn`t know about my arrival and told me t wait the manager which i did.He told me they didn`t have space form me and kicked me out After 2 days. From what i could understand from the other volunteers .Place Is not very good organized:you sign for some tasks and end up doing something else. Managers should spend more time organizing the place and less playing beerpong

My experience had both great moments and some challenges. Upon arrival, there was a task reshuffle that led to initial tensions, but we managed to resolve them through conversation. The atmosphere is very social and lively—perfect for those who enjoy that vibe; in my case, I sometimes struggled to find quiet space. However, I take with me great learnings, lovely memories, and wonderful people I met along the way.

A very unpleasant/unacceptable experience. I came expecting painting murals/contributing art, but was only construction. We slept at the sight without doors/heat/showers/wifi/laundry/light. We were to receive amenities by going to the sister hostel, but were often refused/unwelcome. We were legitimately concerned, but our manager was dismissive the times we brought it up. The project was very rushed, management was stressed, meaning yelling/fights between staff, working more hours/no dayoff, meals forgotten, no acknowledgment for our work-only snide questions/comments on why more wasnt done.

I'm sure there was a misunderstanding with Gender. he is a nice guy and will work a lot, covering also others job. unfortunately the moment wasn't ideal since the place was under construction. we can't wait for Gender to be back

I don't like writing negative reviews, but I need to be honest. As a solo female traveler I would not recommend! Misogyny from every man on the project. I never felt respected or valued. I've never felt more objectified and viewed as so low. The manager and 2 of his volunteers had a bet on who could get me into bed, even trying to put me in the bed between them for that purpose. Many vulgar conversations about me were overheard, things I definitely can't write publicly! Hours not respected, reluctance to give any basic amenities. Drama between management was taken out on volunteers. Unsafe.
