Had an incredible time at the hostel. All the staff, volunteers and owners are really nice and cool people. The work was always fun and the atmosphere in the hostel is great! The lake and its surroundings is definitely worth a stay. Will come back to see all these legends again 🤙

Highly recommend this experience if you have the chance! My partner and I volunteered here during our travels and the relationships we made will last indefinitely. The owners, staff and facilities are all legends and the working environment and culture is not only fair but extremely fun. It's a great place to hang out and meet amazing people! Originally planning to stay for a few weeks but absolutely loved the hostel, I ended up staying for 3 months. The hostel is super social and there are always amazing people cycling through. As a volunteer you mainly bartend, sometimes do housekeeping and socialize with guests. Everyone raves about how welcoming the environment is here and I couldn't agree more. Panajachel has loads to do as well, on your days off you can explore the lake and rest of Guatemala, or hangout at the hostel - there's always something to do and people to do things with. Highly recommend!!

This place and everyone in it became like my family! I was only meant to stay for 3 weeks and I stayed for 5, everyone looks after each other and they make the biggest efforts with the guests. Can't wait to go back next year

I had such an incredible experience volunteering at the hostel, the owners and managers do such an incredible job of making you feel welcome and explaining things. The atmosphere is one of the best I've ever experienced in a hostel, I will definitely return if I come back to Guatemalla. I have made so many friends and made some truly brilliant memories. If you like to have lots of fun and socialize then this place is a great spot to do so.

Me gusto la experiencia, me tuve que ir precipitadamente por una oportunidad que surgió y aquí en el hostel no tuvieron la mejor respuesta con respecto a los beneficios que teníamos los voluntarios, pero eso fue mi experiencia, como lugar es hermoso, tiene mucha vida y hay mucha fiesta también, me gustaría volver a tener experiencia con ellos de seguro

El intercambio que da el hostel por el voluntariado está muy bien. Un departamento, dos comidas y noches al rededor del lago. En mi opinión, no es un ambiente amigable para estar mucho tiempo, ni poco. En general el equipo estuvo bien, pero la manager a cargo cambiaba mucho su actitud según el voluntario, lo que hizo mi estadía incómoda y no muy divertida. Entiendo que es un hostel de fiesta, pero estaría bueno que no solo se preocupen en emborracharse, si no también en poder generar vínculos más allá del alcohol y la fiesta.

El intercambio me pareció justo, el dpto de voluntarios cómodo, la ubicación ideal para recorrer panajachel y las tareas en general eran sencillas y llevaderas. Lo que hizo complicada mi estadía fue la forma en que se manejaba la mánager, un trato totalmente desigual con los voluntarios, entraba borracha a las 3 de la mañana al dpto haciendo ruido y no dejando descansar, te metía presión para que bebieras, pero a pesar de su mal trato lo demás estaba muy bien
