Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend it. The place is amazing with a lot of good activities and the food was great. It's a little far from Santa Marta (40-50 minutes) and they could improve communication with the vols.

It's a beautiful place and I really enjoyed my time there. Volunteers get three meals a day and it was usually really good and filling :) (although sometimes quite repetitive) We slept in tents by the river and to be honest I was a little nervous about this at first but it turned out to be very comfortable! I would've liked a better introduction in the beginning. I felt a little bit thrown into the work and there was literally no explanations of the tasks… Overall I think the organization could improve a little bit but I still 100% recommend the experience.

I had a very chilled-out two weeks at this beautiful Finca. The views and rivers are amazing and the tent was very comfortable. The location is pretty remote but there is also a great little local bar and another volunteering spot across the river to socialise outside of the Finca. The staff are lovely I just wish there was a formal introduction to meet the co-workers. Hikes around the area are cool and the managers were very kind and flexible with my hours so that I could enjoy my days off in Minca and Taganga. The wifi is almost perfect and so I could work remotely whilst enjoying the pools!

The volunteering takes place in a beautiful hostel near paso del mango. The team is amazing and the volunteers at the time were really fun. Depending on your skills or what kind of help is needed, you will either teach yoga, help behind the bar, or something else :) Thank you for everything !

The finca it's amazing! The owners are not there, it's run by colombians that are awesome. Volunteers get a house that is like 10 minutes walking away and there is no light AT ALL so you have to walk trough the dark. The house is uninhabited which means that you'll find all kind of animals and insects around and IN the house. I spent 2 weeks there and they only cleaned the house once and we didn't have the supplies to clean ourselves (the volunteers). Apart from that the rest was completely amazing-food, work, staff, the place itself and the surroundings. Lot of peace and quiet everywhere❤️‍🔥

Dear Valentina thanks so much for your honest review. You were right about the house, it was not really cleaned at that time, so now volunteers stay in the hostel. All the best

It was a great experience where I got to have great collaboration and interactions with the staff and go with them on excursions to waterfalls and hikes and practice my Spanish! The only downside is that volunteers stay in a house about 10 minutes walking into the jungle away from everyone else. As a girl walking into the jungle in the dark after my shift when nobody else was available, I thought it was a bit scary with the snakes and animals that live there. But I highly recommend and the work is totally fine in the bar, reception, and doing some translating. Speaking spanish helps!!!

The lodge is truly a wonderful place, so much that I wouldn't leave if I didn't have to. The facilities are amazing, beautiful, comfortable and clean. The tasks and hours are flexible and the work is fairly easy. I talked to many international guests and got to practice my Spanish with the local staff. The food is for sure the best I've had and Colombia. I am so very grateful for all the staff (especially for Mari, my reception colleague), for their welcoming and helpful attitude. I recommend ths place for everyone that's looking for a place to rest and enjoy the nature in Santa Marta.

Thank you so much for your lovely words! 💚 We're really happy you had such a good time with us — it was great having your energy around the finca!

We know the first few days at reception can feel a bit intense while getting into the rhythm, so we appreciate you sticking with it — it definitely gets easier with time, and you did a great job 😊
