The experience
We are a community social enterprise in a tiny beautiful local village in Chiang Mai, Thailand. About an hour's journey southwest of the city of Chiang Mai. We are a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our community/guest residence brings together local crafts and crafts people and international guests and volunteers. If you are looking for authentic Thai culture and a rejuvenating time in nature,here we are.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Child Care:
Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

About the Project:
Kadsala is a registered social enterprise located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our mission is to conserve the traditional Lanna woodcraft heritage while empowering local and hilltribe communities through access to education, cultural exchange, and sustainable tourism. We host local artisans, support English language learning for children, and create platforms for community-based workshops.
Our initiative is rooted in cultural preservation, environmental awareness, and grassroots social development. Volunteers play an important role in supporting both hands-on and behind-the-scenes activities that strengthen our impact

🤝 Volunteer with Us at Kad Sala Village
Kad Sala Village is proud of its volunteering program! For years, volunteers from around the world have come to:
• Help local children learn English through fun, creative classes including games and interactive tasks. 📚🎲
• Support the village with small projects like updating social media and website content. 💻
Both children and adults attend English classes here, creating a warm, inclusive learning environment.

More info: - No smoke, no drug or alcohol
ACCOMODATION We want volunteers to stay with us at least 2 weeks. Our volunteer houses can host 6 to 8 volunteers (4 people per room), Mix room and women room. The rooms have fan, shower room (cold water) and toilet. Volunteers will each receive a bed, bedding, and share the room with other volunteers. Food will be provided lunch by everyday, anyhow you can access to a small kitchen in the area.
