L'expérience

We are a wood crafting community in a tiny beautiful local village in Chiang Mai, Thailand. About an hour's journey southwest of the city of Chiang Mai. We are a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our community/guest residence brings together local crafts and crafts people and international guests and volunteers. If you are looking for authentic Thai culture and a rejuvenating time in nature ,here we are.

25 heures d'aide par semaine

Jardinage: Aider à faire pousser des plantes et cultiver des jardins

Nettoyage: Aider à nettoyer la cuisine, les chambres, les salles de bain et les espaces communs.

Travail social: Aider au travail bénévole dans des projets locaux et des communautés.

Enseignement des langues: Enseigner une langue à l'hôte, aux invités ou aux communautés locales.


Ce que vous recevez

1 jour de congé par semaine

Dortoir partagé: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres voyageurs.

Déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Réductions sur les Visites: Obtenez des réductions pour les visites et excursions dans la ville.

Visites gratuites: Nous vous emmènerons faire des visites et des balades en ville. Gratuitement !

Vélos à votre disposition: Vous pouvez utiliser nos vélos quand vous le souhaitez.

Cours de langue: Suivez des cours de langue gratuits chez nous.

Utilisez notre cuisine équipée: N'hésitez pas à utiliser notre cuisine et préparer vos propres délicieux repas.

Welcome to Kadsala Craft Village!

Based in beautiful Chiang Mai, Thailand, we're more than just a place—we're a registered social enterprise passionate about preserving the magical heritage of traditional Lanna woodcraft.

Our heart is in our mission: empowering our incredible local and hilltribe communities. We do this by opening doors to education, cultural exchange, and sustainable travel. Come meet our local artisans, help us support English learning for the children, and join us in vibrant community workshops!

We are seeking volunteers with expertise in the following areas to expand key initiatives like "English For All" and promote our local projects:

You can also contribute directly through hands-on activities:

Teaching English (📚): Lead creative lessons, games, and activities for local children and adults.

Digital Assistance (💻): Digital Marketing & Outreach: Social media and online marketing. Website Development. To help showcase outfits for our Thrift Store Project (proceeds support "Save Our Planet" campaigns)

General Upkeep: Assist with the cleanliness and maintenance of the village.

Règles

Our Shared Community & Conduct
- Reliability & Respect: Be punctual for all commitments. Always show respect for local Lanna culture, customs, traditions, and beliefs.
- Dress Code: Please dress modestly, especially during classes. Ensure shoulders and knees are covered. Avoid tank tops, shorts, or tight/revealing clothing.
- Community Rules: Quiet time starts at 9:00 PM.
- Prohibited: Smoking, alcohol, drug use, weapons, and motorbikes are strictly prohibited on the premises.
-Media Consent: You authorize Kadsala to photograph, video, and record your participation, and to use these materials for our storytelling, reporting, and promotional purposes.


ACCOMODATION
We want volunteers to stay with us at least 2 weeks. Our volunteer houses can host 6 to 8 volunteers (4 people per room), Mix room and women room. The rooms have fan, shower room (cold water) and toilet. Volunteers will each receive a bed, bedding, and share the room with other volunteers.
Lunch , provide 3 meals per week not include 'cooking (class) together by occasion.
Note: Kad Sala Community Enterprise has not received any financial support from any agency.
