Staying at the community was amazing! The work was well-organized and rewarding. the community's team made me feel at home with their warm hospitality and insightful local tips. This is the best place for meditation and relaxation. Everyone is amazing and very friendly. For future travellers, bring a positive attitude and be ready to learn and explore. Highly recommended!

I had a great time at Kadampa ! You will learn about buddhism if you want, do gardening and cleaning in a beautiful environment with a team of other volunteers from around the world. The center is incredibly well kept, surrounded by beautiful mountains and olive trees, and even has a pool. Everyone is really nice, there is delicious vegetarian food all you want, this is definitely a cool quiet place to come discover ! And of course you don't have to be a buddhist or participate in the religious aspects if you don't want to, a lot of us didn't.

A great place to disconnect from the world for a while. I met great people and enjoyed the beautiful landscape and tasty food. There were also many opportunities to practice Spanish. Overall, it was a very interesting experience.

I had an incredible time at Malaga the community. Speaking English was a small challenge at times, most people there did not speak much English. However, everyone was incredible kind, patient, and always made sure I felt comfortable and happy. Another challenge was not know the planned schedule until the night before or the day of. Despite that, the hours are respected. In the free time I enjoyed the many meditation sessions. The food was delicious and the accommodations were very comfortable. I highly recommend this experience especially if you want to learn about Kadampa Buddhism or meditation!

I applied on this volonteering to do gardening but on the 1st day they imposed me to clean the temple with others volonteers. The "monk" was authoritary with us during the work and asked me to put away my bottle of water. I have back problems, after 6 hours of works, it hurted. I asked them to leave but they didn't take into account my inquiry and told me to wait to do gardening so I left. All volonteers were complaining about the pressure of the work that is actually a volonteering. This is not a budhist center but a sect against Dalaï lama. They take adavantage of volonteers for their needs

I had an overall good experience at the temple, but people should be prepared to not only help with tasks, but to do 6 hours of quite physical work. Work was from 9.30-17.00 everyday (including breaks), so it didn't leave a lot of time to do other things. But the food is always yummy and healthy and they the pool is great! Another thing is that you get told what you will for the day only in the morning (so that's good for spontaneous people:D) and the day you arrive counts as one of your free days. But the staff and the other volunteers were friendly and always available!

Amazing! This is a wonderful place to go to. I couldn't recommend it enough. The views are breathtaking just like the people! The accommodations are very clean and you will feel very comfortable here. This is the perfect place for people who want to learn more about spirituality and of course meditation. This is also a great place to practice Spanish but don't worry if you don't, people here speak with their hearts! The organisation is also near perfect, Beatriz is almost always available and schedules are always agreed upon at least the day before. I also highly recommend going to the events!

I had a wonderful experience during the week I spent here. At first I thought it would be difficult, as not many people speak English, but the hospitality and helpfulness helped me through them. The food they offer is very good, varied and tasty, but vegetarian, which can often be difficult for a meat eater. But there is a restaurant relatively close, so it can be solved. The working hours can be hard at times, but they keep them very honestly and respectfully so it's okay. Thank you for the whole community for giving me the opportunity to spend a week here and get closer to Buddhism.
