It was a great experience, the host and the hotel staff were great. Thank you everyone for your patience and hospitality. I also received help from some Worldpackers. chevere I learned about housekeeping. The breakfast was delicious and varied. In my free time, I visited Amsterdam and the canals. It's a very beautiful country, very well organized. I would come back and visit again. It's a beautiful country. I wish everyone the best from your Peruvian friend. Blessings, Jaqueline.

My experience in Rijswijk was pleasant. I immediately felt good with all the volunteers and the team. The work is really easy, and you even have the opportunity to choose your own schedule, giving you a break. The rooms have private, comfortable beds, occupied by volunteers. The area is close to the city center, large parks, and The Hague. I immediately became fond of the staff, whom I greet warmly, Karyna, Rasim, and Hilde are wonderful people. Dennis is always present and available, and he takes great care of any issues, which makes him an excellent host. I recommend this place!

I volunteered at the hostel Hotel in Rijswijk, doing simple tasks like painting and restoring rooms. Faizel was super nice and helpful, and the staff were kind. Rijswijk is a cute city, perfectly located to visit Rotterdam, Den Haag, and Delft. I really enjoyed my stay and loved my first Worldpackers experience. However, if your goal is to practice English or meet people, this might not be ideal, as most spoke Dutch and I was the only volunteer. Maybe the position in the hostel could have given a different vibe :) Thanks, Dennis and Faizel, for this amazing opportunity!

Volunteering at the hostel for a month was a challenging and constructive experience. I developed communication skills, a sense of community, and learned housekeeping. However, it's more a hotel than a hostel, with over 100 rooms and no community vibe or engagement activities. The accommodations are great, breakfast is excellent, and Johnny makes a great macchiato. But the kitchen is often messy, and there's no dedicated volunteer space. Overall, a good experience, but improvements are needed for me to consider returning.

I stayed there for one month. It was great to make friendships etc. The best part of the location is you can go to delft by foot! Just 3km!!! Train station is also very close. Thanks to Rasim for his helps! :) Made experience even better!

I had the nicest month volunteering here, everyone working was so friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was very delicious😋Getting to help with events with the other volunteers was also very rewarding and a fun way to spend an evening in the hostel, getting to socialise and talk to people travelling from everywhere. Thanks for everything!! Will definitely stop by again whenever I'm in the Netherlands :)

It's been a great experience for me, The Hague is a great city, and this hostel hosts events everyday, which is a great way to meetnew people. The workload is not that much, except on sundays or holidays you are done pretty quickly. It is true that there is not much space in the rooms for a long term stay though, but thats a minor inconvenience. The bad reviews about extra work seem unfair to me, doing 1 or 2 beds or help to gather the terrace tables while you're doing nothing it's not that much. It may be a hussle sometimes but like I said before the workload is light and you get done early.

Everyone in the hostel was very welcoming, kind and sociable since the beginning of the experience. During the whole month there has been a lot of chances to get to know the staff and the other volunteers, inside and outside of the workplace. Tasks were easy and the shift's schedule was quite flexible too. The hostel also plans weekly events open to guests and also to the customers of the Cafè, these include live music, art workshops, students events and game nights. I really enjoyed the time I spent at the hostel and at the cafè with everyone. Highly reccomended.
