Pt2. They had a very clear approach to work hours which is when you're on shift you need to be 100% focused and when you are off shift you don't need to do any work. The timetable is clear and the food was really nice with 2 snacks throughout the day as well. The staff and children were lovely and funny and we made some good friends. Many thanks to the coordinator Luis who took Summer to the hospital at night for her injured foot and Bruno who picked us up at 3am to crash at his place for some sleep.

Thank you to Rash and the NewPa team for having me for the week! I felt welcomed and supported from the very start. Tasks were straightforward and they really respected our free time. Exploring the surroundings and going for long walks around the camp was lovely, as well as meeting other monitors, volunteers and kids.

NewPa is run by extremely friendly, collaborative, and flexible people. If you're up for learning something new, they are happy to teach you. And if you aren't comfortable with a task, they'll find something you'll enjoy doing. (For instance, me and a new Australian friend of mine learned how to weild a scythe. The grim reaper's weapon of choice ;) They also understand that life happens and you might need a few days to attend a funeral. I loved our small community of international volunteers and the monitors who made the kids' camp fun for everyone involved. I look forward to staying in touch.

I volunteer for just a week but it was clear how much passion and energy they put in their project! I felt they're not just a team but a family, and they made me feel a part of it. The educational project was great, it teaches real and important skills to the children in fun ways. A great experience, recommended!

My weeks in NewPa were amazing, I learned a lot with the team and with the kids. The energy of everyone is always incredibly and it is super important to me. I did a lot of new things, could improve my English, stayed close to the nature, and met volunteers from all of the world. I just have to thank Rash and Moni for all the support and congratulations for this project.

Una experiencia maravillosa con gente maravillosa. Ha sido mi primera vez con Worldpackers y, sin duda, lo recomendaría. El lugar es precioso, las tareas son sencillas y los horarios se respetan. El trabajo de los coordinadores ha sido excelente: nos han ayudado mucho, nos han apoyado en todo lo que hemos necesitado y siempre han estado atentos a lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Me llevo un recuerdo increíble,además del conocimiento acerca de sostenibilidad, consumo responsable y conexión con la naturaleza que he obtenido. Estoy deseando volver.

Me va a costar mucho olvidar lo increíble que ha sido para mí este viaje, pese a haber estado dos semanas ha sido una experiencia que me ha marcado mucho. Es un proyecto que refleja muy bien la idea de ser conscientes con el medioambiente se trata de una manera tan buena que no te queda de otra más que replantearte tus propias acciones. Me ha cambiado mucho la visión de las cosas. La gente allí es maravillosa tanto monitoras, voluntarias, los coordinadores, todo lleno de gente asombrosa y realmente pura. Comillas es un lugar precioso,pero el lugar situado del campamento es mágico.Ojalá volver.

Fue una hermosa semana en Santander. No tenía idea de que el norte de España estuviera tan bonito. Pude disfrutar de los paisaje hermosos mientras ayudaba con algunas labores del campamento. Siempre estuvieron muy atentos de lo que necesitará. Fueron muy generosos e hicieron que tuviera una hermosa experiencia. Moni y Rash son unos excelentes host y gracias a su equipo de trabajo fue un muy bello voluntariado. No me quedan sino ganas de volver 💞

Estuve en NewPa dos semanas, volví ayer y ya me gustaría volver a estar ahí. La estancia ha sido magnifica. Mi amiga y yo conectamos mucho con los alumnos y con los monitores, hicimos muy buen equipo y eso fue una de las cosas que nos hizo sentirnos en casa durante estas dos semanas. Personalmente he mejorado muchísimo mi inglés y mi conciencia sobre el medioambiente. También creo que el inglés con los alumnos a veces suponía barreras, ya que los niños no entendían algunas cosas, pero eso no ha sido un gran problema. Nuestra estancia se resume en alegría constante. Esperamos volver pronto.
