I really enjoyed my time here! Every member of the farm was so welcoming and kind, and made me feel right at home. I found my accommodation on the farm to be really cozy (I shared a room with two other female volunteers), but it does take a day or two to settle in. In terms of work, the tasks were clear and hours were observed. Hours were 8:00-1:30 with a half hour break included, and the tasks weren't tough, but you have to be willing to get your hands dirty! Overall, it was such a peaceful week filled with nature and community, and I'd highly recommend this experience :-)

Since this was my first Worldpackers exchange and also my first solo trip, I was a bit nervous at the beginning, especially because I can be quite shy. But from the moment I arrived, everyone was super welcoming and friendly. I got along really well with the other volunteers, which made the whole stay even more enjoyable. The dorm was different from what I had expected (e.g compost toilets), but in the end it was totally fine, I just did not know about it before applying. The work at the café was good, I especially enjoyed helping out with the B&B rooms and food was always delicious.

We had such a wonderful experience! The welcome and hospitality were truly heartwarming, and everyone was incredibly kind and patient. What made it even more special was the chance to meet many volunteers from all over the world and to create new friendships. We are deeply grateful for the generosity and the unforgettable experience that was shared with us, and we truly hope to come back in the future!

This was my second time at the community and I would come back again! What makes this experience so special to me is that you really feel like you're home away from home and meet so many amazing people, with whom you can spend your free time (and you get a lot of free time you can spend in nature or at the farm) :) For most of us, it presented a lot of new experiences, like feeding chicken, using compost toilets etc., just a great place to learn :))

Only english speaking, no german (as in the description). We got sick there, but we were very well cared for. Generally, the members on the farm were very welcoming, with a wide variety of people. The food is interesting and tastes good, but not as "the community," "healthy," or varied as I had imagined... It was a nice stay and we got to meet many other volunteers. Many Germans were there :)

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I had a wonderful time. Work in the Café was fun, the working hours were always respected and everybody in the community was really nice and made sure you felt welcome and included from the very beginning. Also, the bicycles came in really handy because there are so many beautiful places (e.g. lakes and nature reserves) to explore. I can definitely recommend coming here :)

Our stay was wonderful! From the very beginning we felt at home – the hosts were incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to support us. Work was fair and well organized: 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, with varied tasks both around the house and on the farm. In our free time, we could explore beautiful lakes, nature reserves, and nearby islands, all easily reachable by bike or train. Food was always provided, sometimes freshly cooked, sometimes leftovers, but never lacking. Both the hosts and the other volunteers made the experience truly enriching. We couldn't have wished for better stay!

Everybody is super friendly, respectful and open to teaching you and helping you with whatever you need. You'll meet a lot of amazing people from many different countries so it's a great chance to practice communicating in english. The work on the farm can sometimes be quite exhausting but you're not at all expected to go over your limits. There's a lot of different learning opportunities, your tasks are being assigned for you but you can always voice your preferences. At this place you can meet others without fear of judgement, grow your confidence and can connect through curiosity and joy.

I had a lovely time at the community. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. The nature is so beautiful and calming and the food at the farm was amazing. I learned so much because Pavlina and her husband share so much about their knowledge and they truly inspired me!

It's my first volunteer trip and I spent wonderful time with Paulia and her team. Everyone here is super friendly, warm and willing to share. They will guide you to do the work on the farm and really respect the time schedule. When we finished the work, we can cycle to the lake for swimming and enjoy the stunning view! Other volunteers were also friendly and nice, sometimes we played board games at night and had a lot of fun. It feels like home. So, I super recommend staying here, I almost cried when I was leaving! Thanks for everything!
