The experience

Would you like to be part of a small and welcoming hostel surrounded by nature? We are currently looking for volunteers to help out with a variety of practical tasks.

The hostel is located in beautiful, peaceful surroundings just outside Agger – a small, charming village by the North Sea, nestled between sand dunes, the ocean, and Thy National Park. It’s the perfect place to enjoy fresh air, open skies, and a slower pace of life.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate English

Over 21 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

Typical tasks may include:

Minor repairs and maintenance, such as fixing door handles, furniture, or light fixtures

Gardening and outdoor work, including sweeping, small repairs, and general upkeep of the outdoor areas

Cleaning of common areas and rooms, including tidying up and preparing spaces for guests

Painting walls and surfaces, both indoors and outdoors as needed

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, flexible, and ready to lend a hand wherever needed. You’ll be part of a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, where community and nature go hand in hand.
