Activities & Shift

Every day living and helping on the farm brings different challenges and tasks but all start with the same basic routine. We take pride in what we do, work hard and enjoy having fun while working but do so in a safe and enjoyable manner and environment. Richard is an avid hunter so there may come an opportunity to go along on a hunter or help with pest control if you wanted to.
Things we are looking for within our helpers are people who are willing to work and learn what we do. We are very passionate about our work lifestyle and everything we do. Also, people who enjoy the great outdoors and working with nature and animals. People with a sense of humour who like/love animals and are comfortable with dogs as we own two dogs that sleep inside at night, all our previous guests have fallen in love with our dog and also our cows and calves.
Things we have to offer are a fun and safe work environment. Warm and comfortable accommodation. Your own private downstairs room with a comfortable queen-sized bed with access to your own shower and toilet facilities also located downstairs. The use of the upstairs area which includes another shower and a separate toilet. Kitchen and dining areas. You will also be welcome to use our TV upstairs but will also have your own TV in your room to enjoy that has a device plugged in so you can cast from your phone to it but also connect to the internet to watch the likes of YouTube. We do have fishing gear should you want to try and catch yourself some fish. You will be required to have your own transport as we live away from town and there is no public transport available. We are also flexible about you picking up paid work off our farm provided the required hours needed to be worked here are fulfilled.
