Unfortunately I couldn't teach to the kids as two days after I arrived, the the school went on holidays, but anyways I was able to help them with their social media. Joseph and his whole family are truly amazing, they really made me feel welcomed and part of the family. I had my own bedroom and bathroom, the food was really good and the area where the house and the the school are located is really safe and calm. Joseph is even willing to take you to town or to Bagamoyo and as he is a History teacher is really nurturing to talk to him and get to know more about Tanzania's history.

From the moment I arrived, Joseph extended a warm and heartfelt welcome, making me feel like a part of his family. The kids at the school were not only lovely but also incredibly cute, and I cherished every moment spent with them. 😎 Joseph went above and beyond to introduce me to the local culture, even taking me on a trip to Bagamoyo where I learned about the history of the slave trade. Having my private room and never missing a meal made my stay comfortable and worry-free. I will genuinely miss Joseph the kids, and the whole family. I'm already looking forward to seeing them again!

Absolutely 100/10. My stay has been AMAZING!!! Joseph and his family gladly hosted me. The family treated me as one of their own. I lived with them in the same home, and had my own spacious self contained room. They provided every meal daily and even when they would not be around, and I was at home alone, they organized that I had food. I learnt alot from Joseph and his family like leadership skills and how to handle children. The staff at the school treated me with kindness and very welcoming. I enjoyed teaching the children. Loved this host and I definitely recommend this experience.

Ha sido una experiencia increíble, se nota que Joseph tiene muchas ganas de cumplir su sueño de proporcionar una educación de calidad para todos los niños, todo lo que hace es por y para conseguir lograrlo, haber podido ayudarlo ha sido muy gratificante y hemos aprendido mucho. Además nos ha tratado como a uno más de la familia y nos ha ayudado en todo lo que hemos necesitado.

A experiência com o Joseph é a família foi maravilhosa. Saímos totalmente da nossa zona de conforto, e isso nos fez crescer muito. É maravilhoso receber o amor de todas as crianças, a escola realmente é um diferencial na vida delas. Foi um privilégio viver o voluntariado ao lado deles.
