My first volunteering was more than amazing with Joseph and his lovely family He is very intelligent and fun, which made our conversations incredible and super respectful, even when faced with differences of belief. He also took me to incredible places full of history. His wife, Suzan made me feel super comfortable and everyone treated me like royalty. The children were perfect Despite the atypical 1st week due to the holidays, the 2nd week with classes was dynamic. I was able to help with many adm tasks and even build a kitchen! I highly recommend this experience and hope to return soon

I think it was the best experience of my life. Joseph takes care of the volunteers as if they were family and everything is super safe. The food is very good and the the school is a fantastic place. A whole new world worth getting to know

Unfortunately I couldn't teach to the kids as two days after I arrived, the the school went on holidays, but anyways I was able to help them with their social media. Joseph and his whole family are truly amazing, they really made me feel welcomed and part of the family. I had my own bedroom and bathroom, the food was really good and the area where the house and the the school are located is really safe and calm. Joseph is even willing to take you to town or to Bagamoyo and as he is a History teacher is really nurturing to talk to him and get to know more about Tanzania's history.

From the moment I arrived, Joseph extended a warm and heartfelt welcome, making me feel like a part of his family. The kids at the school were not only lovely but also incredibly cute, and I cherished every moment spent with them. 😎 Joseph went above and beyond to introduce me to the local culture, even taking me on a trip to Bagamoyo where I learned about the history of the slave trade. Having my private room and never missing a meal made my stay comfortable and worry-free. I will genuinely miss Joseph the kids, and the whole family. I'm already looking forward to seeing them again!

Absolutely 100/10. My stay has been AMAZING!!! Joseph and his family gladly hosted me. The family treated me as one of their own. I lived with them in the same home, and had my own spacious self contained room. They provided every meal daily and even when they would not be around, and I was at home alone, they organized that I had food. I learnt alot from Joseph and his family like leadership skills and how to handle children. The staff at the school treated me with kindness and very welcoming. I enjoyed teaching the children. Loved this host and I definitely recommend this experience.
