Looking for a unique experience in Rome? Since 2017, Trastevere Hostel has welcomed volunteers from all over the world to be part of our vibrant team.
Help out with basic tasks, connect with amazing people, and make unforgettable memories in the Eternal City.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Program Details

🌍 Volunteer Program at Trastevere Hostel – Live, Help & Explore Rome!

Since 2017, Trastevere Hostel has been a home away from home for travelers from all over the world — and a vibrant community for volunteers who want to experience Rome from the inside out.

As part of our volunteer program, you'll help with simple daily tasks such as:

🧹 Light cleaning and tidying up

🥐 Breakfast preparation

🙋 Guest support and social interaction

🌙 Occasional night porter shifts

Activities & Shift
