Island Retreat: Help at a Hidden Guesthouse with Sea Views

Staying at the guesthouse was one of my favorite experiences in Japan! Masashi is very welcoming, kind, amazing at communicating and creating clear expectations, the work is reasonable, and the location is so beautiful! It's also a great opportunity to learn more about Japanese culture, language and food, and meet other locals and travelers! Although this is not a super popular part of Japan, there is still plenty to do on the island and surrounding islands as well as plenty of time to relax and just enjoy the environment. I highly recommend this experience!

Masashi is a really friendly and welcoming host. The tasks are easy and the work ethics are not as strict as I imagined even thow punctuality seemed really important. I had to struggle a little with language barriers and I kinda would have enjoyed hanging out more with fellow volounteers which wasnt really possible due to our shift schedules and lack of communication but therefore I met many guest that we're amazing and I had a good time.

No me alcanzan las palabras para describir mi experiencia en Miyaura Goten! Realmente me sentí como en casa, en familia y muy a gusto! La isla es hermosa, la casa y la gente también! Masashi es un gran anfitrión, el más buena onda de todo Japón! Súper generoso, divertido y atento, siempre con una sonrisa y además, cocina riquísimo! Me encantó estar aquí, la isla es increíblemente hermosa y tienes Suficiente tiempo para visitarla y otros islas mas. Hay museos y templos hermosos. Siempre fueron amables conmigo y Masashi cocina increíblemente rico.
