Join us at Mute Milfontes, a peaceful spot with stunning views! We need a hands-on volunteer to help with garden care, watering, trimming, basic maintenance, and handling laundry. If you're versatile and love nature, this is for you. Enjoy a calm, inspiring place on the Alentejo coast while lending a helpful hand.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Tasks include:

-Light maintenance work around the property
-Watering and trimming plants
-General support with housekeeping (e.g., bringing laundry to/from the service)
-Being proactive and ready to help where needed

Activities & Shift

Volunteering hours are from 10:00 to 16:00. The schedule may change due the hostel needs.

Rules

We attach great importance to CUSTOMER satisfaction.
We do not tolerate disrespect for hostel rules, customers, and colleagues!
Failure to comply could lead to expulsion from the hostel!
At the hostel:

- No alcoholic beverages during the shift

- Respect colleagues and the orders from the hostel crew;

- Hours of service - Be punctual and a uniform is mandatory.

- On days off, wear presentable clothes, you are free to roam around and make new friends and connect with anyone
