The bar staff are the most funny, welcoming and warm hearted people. They really make you feel as part of the team from day one. Since not all of them speak English, I would recommend some Spanish skills to be able to improve your relations. Sadly during my stay the previous Bar Manager Michi has moved on to work at the newly opened the hostel in Huacachina. The new manager is also friendly, but he expects volunteers to mainly do dishes, so you shouldn't have a problem with that. Nevertheless i really enjoyed the work and the party. Paracas itself is a cute but really small village.

I really enjoyed my volunteering in the hostel, all staff involved are friendly, always putting you to social activities or just drinking out of your working hours - which is really easy with free drinks for your shift and discounts :) ... Thanks to other bartenders for putting me straight away to work and teaching me basics and their willingness to advice whenever I was a bit lost :) And must appreciate the girl in charge Michelle, very friendly while involving me into the hostel and patient when I needed some changes in my shifts....

I for sure recommend it!! My experience at the hostel was awesome! The whole staff was very friendly, welcoming, and supportive. The fact that I am learning Spanish was not an obstacle, they helped me to enhance it and were given me tips daily. About the facility, the hostel has a nice infrastructure, from hammocks to stand-up paddles and kayaks that are free for the volunteers! Last but not the least, the hostel is in front of the beach, so it could not be better!!!

I had an absolutely amazing time volunteering at the hostel! The hostel is very cool and Paracas is a beautiful place. Michelle is an excellent bar manager and the entire staff was so friendly and really welcoming, you feel like you part of the family at the hostel! It's a great place to meet locals and practice Spanish as well. I'd definitely recommend the hostel to any and everyone!!

The team here were super welcoming and we felt at home straight away. Michelle was great at teaching us how to make many different Peruvian cocktails. The bar is a very popular and a good place to meet locals and international travelers. Our experience at the hostel was amazing and would definitely recommend it to any travelers looking to spend a few weeks at the beach in Peru.

Daniel and Lois have been very efficient in their stay as volunteers, they have supported in all the daily tasks, they have made new friends, they are very sociable, and their energy at the time of fulfilling the activities is very good. They are always alert and willing to help. I recommend them to any hostel where they wish to volunteer and we hope they come back, here they will have their Kokopelli family.

The hostel really feels like home. All the staff is very helpful and pleasant. Fabian, the bar manager, is so easygoing and he's also always there to help. The hostel itself is amazing: good infrastructure, clean, great environment and the food is delicious! The procedures are very clear, what makes the work flows easily. Everything is always organized and the shifts are dynamic. And I need to say that the dorm for volunteers is very good, comfortable and clean!! I just loved it!

J'ai passé un super moment à l'auberge de jeunesse !! Le travail est simple et amusant, malgré quelques longueurs quand il y a peu de clients. L'équipe du bar est super accueillante et des liens se sont créés rapidement avec le staff. Quelques petites choses à redire niveau organisation / communication avec la hiérarchie mais si tu aimes faire la fête, danser, l'océan et rencontrer du monde c'est l'endroit parfait !! Je recommande !
