The experience

Hya!!

We are trying to restore a ruin and build up a self reliant , sustainable project with 0 budget.

People with construction and gardening skills are extremely helpfull. We love bulding with natural materials and scrap metarials and are trying to improve the place and make life more awesome.

Depending on the time of the year we start early in summer but we work 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. We cook together or supply materials

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Dutch

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We expect fun loving people who can be themselves and roll with our crazy idea to attack this project without a huge budget. Common sense and respectfull people are welcome and no complete stoners or druggies please.

People can expect us to accomodate them as best as we can with our balancing work, family life and our project. We always make it work and usually make friends

Activities & Shift

Dependson the season. In summer we have to get cracking early as to beat the heat! Wecould be clearing the ruin or making adobe mud bricks. Building with cob or gardening. Random side missions happen all the time :)

Some maturity is expected. Mommy doesnt work here so please help keep or make the place tidy etc :p
