My time at the shelter was very valuable and memorable! The volunteers & owners were very welcoming and cared about my integration despite a language barrier. Everyone really cares for the dogs - It was inspiring to see so much meaningful work done w/ little resources. Fair warning that since it's a donation based non-profit, it's not furnished well, we share our lounge area w/ the dogs so it gets quite dirty, and a rat near the kitchen. It took me some getting used to but it was a small price to pay when I saw how important their work is - everyone working to give so many dogs much better lives ❤️

This was my first worldpacker experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Patri was very welcoming from the get-go and responded to any questions or concerns I had. All the volunteers at the shelter were so welcoming and kind and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to spend the time with. The work was really fulfilling and enjoyable and you can see how much the people there care about the animals. I would love to go back again and I was sorry that I only chose to go here for two weeks , I wish my stay had been longer.

As a first volunteering experience I couldn't have hoped for anything better than that !! Patri, Jose and all of the others volunteers are just soooo nice and committed to da good thing for those precious animals! They all made me feel at home and I will forever be grateful for their kindness and generosity. I have now so many new memories and friends that I will never forget !! Grateful and hoping to be able to see them all again soon !

I had an incredible experience working at the shelter. all the people there are there to care for animals, which says a lot about their personalities: kind and caring, with lots of generosity to give. the community there was more like a family than a workplace, all united by a common objective. the work is very fun- essentially consisting of playing with animals and taking dogs for walks through the beautiful Catalunyan countryside. i would definitely recommend the shelter and hopefully will return one day. thanks to everyone that made my experience great!

Un lujo poder haber hecho el voluntariado mientras ella nos ayudaba cada vez que subía. Ya extraño a los perritos!!! Espero poder volver en algún momento <3

Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa! Un refugio en el que las personas que forman parte se desviven por darles a los el refugio la oportunidad que se merecen. Una gran familia, que sanan el corazón el refugio y humanos por igual. El voluntariado está muy organizado, y te ayudan en lo que haga falta, especial mención a Laura por todo tu trabajo. Y lo que le da la esencia cada día es conocer a persona maravillosas, tanto voluntarios locales e internacionales, con los que se crean estrechas relaciones. Me llevo a mucha gente bonita de allí, que no olvidaré.

Me encanta el refugio, Laura es un amor de persona, los wp me han ayudado en todo, muy responsables, sociables y sobre todo conectan contigo muchísimo. El sitio está muy bien y recomendaría ir. Son mi segunda familia y está claro que volveré en cuanto pueda❤️

El voluntariado en el refugio ha superado todas mis expectativas. Es el lugar perfecto para todos enamorados de los el refugio y la naturaleza. El trabajo y la pasión de los voluntarios aquí, dedicando cada día todo su corazón a los perros y gatos, es inceríblemente inspirador. No podía haber elegido mejor mi primera experiencia con Worldpackers. Lo que más me dolía, eran las despedidas con todas las personas increíbles que había conocido aquí, que probablemente no volveré a ver en el futuro próximo, y que van a permanecer en mi corazón para siempre. Gracias por todo🥺

El refugio siempre tendrá un lugar especial en mi corazón y en mi alma. He encontrado un lugar (ahora hogar💖) lleno de amor y compromiso, personas maravillosas, voluntarios profundamente enamorados de los peludos…no puedo esperar a volver. Me enamoré ❤️
