The experience
We are a small initiative looking for volunteers to support the development of food products made from milkfish (ikan bandeng) and tempeh, while also working on sustainable ways to process waste into valuable resources. If youโre passionate about food, sustainability, and cultural exchange โ weโd love to welcome you!
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Cooking:
Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Yoga classes:
Take free yoga classes at our place.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Requirements
Beginner Indonesian or Beginner English
Under 50 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers
What's not included
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Teaching us how to cook various dishes using milkfish โ innovative, tasty, and suitable for the market
Teaching us different ways to cook and process tempeh
Processing milkfish solid waste into animal or fish feed
Turning milkfish liquid waste into organic liquid fertilizer
Sharing knowledge of traditional batik techniques and creativity ๐จ
Creating and developing recipes for wingko made with porang flour (wingko porang) โ a unique fusion snack!
