The experience

Our project has entered the final stages of becoming a sustainable, low-carbon educational and creative hub: located in the heart of the regional parc “Le Morvan”
In March 2022, the site was acquired, with the ambition of creating an Eco-Parc with minimal carbon footprint and waste production. A centre for education and learning, for individuals, families, and businesses, it includes a café, permaculture garden, managed forest and workshops.

Program Details

Volunteers will help staff to prepare the permaculture garden, forest and grounds. Most of the volunteering work will be outdoors, so you will need to be reasonably fit and mobile. It will be very "hands on". You will need to be flexible since the project priorities can change depending on weather and timetable. You will be working alongside our team of permanent volunteers and staff. We are a "not for profit" Association with a mission to help society become more sustainable.

Activities & Shift

Generally, the working day for you will be from 9am to 1pm. Breakfast and lunch are provided on site. In the afternoons when available or being organised, you can join our organised activities which include: kayaking, cycling, archery and visits to local sites of interest. Or you are free to do your own thing. Modern, heated accommodation is provided in a separate building which has recently been renovated to a high standard.

Rules

Live to our ethical and environmental standards. Follow our Health and Safety standards. No smoking in any of the buildings. Follow the rules of our accommodation.
