My stay at Vorderiss was actually very pleasant! Working hours were always respected. Some tasks are more tiring than others, but overall everything is manageable. As for the hosts, I had more contact with Andrea – she was always very kind and helpful! The people working there are always willing to support you and clearly introduce you to your duties. The place is pretty remote but if you enjoy nature you will really like it!

I had a great time. Andrea and Frank were very nice and friendly, and I really enjoyed every single day. It also helped that we had a great group there, all the other world packers were also fun to spend time with. The enviroment was amazing, many possibilites to go for a hike, or to just sit by the river and enjoy the nature around you. The meals we had were very good as well. I absolutely recommend this experience.

This was my second volunteering experience and definitely the best. Andrea and Frank run a charming and cozy family alpine business. Tasks and schedules were always respected and well organized. This opportunity helped me gain knowledge in the service area, which was very rewarding. If you need a break, it's the perfect place to enjoy nature: beautiful trails and a river to swim in. I would definitely come back. Grateful for the opportunity.

I had an amazing experience during my volunteering. The hosts were very kind and made me feel at home from day one. The atmosphere with the team and the other volunteers was very positive and full of good energy. The work was simple and well organized. In my free time, I could go hiking, swim in the river, ride a bike, or hike up the nearby mountains. I 100% recommend this experience!.

This experience as truly been life changing for me since I got the chance to learn a totally different culture(Bavarian). I met nice volunteer and the team that works there are very welcoming(Andrea, Frank, Nikola and the Nepalise people🫶🏼). If you love being surrounded by nature far from the big cities it is the perfect place where you can do many hikes and visit a beautiful natural lake and also many moutains and waterfalls. The jobs in general are not difficult and the people that run the business are taking the job seriously so it is not a place to be lazy! Thank you so much again🫶🏼

As my first wp experience it was wonderful. Frank and Andrea are lovely people. Job was not hard and our working hours were clear. The nature around the house is breathtaking. I'll recommend this job to everyone.

Servus! I spend two really nice weeks in Vonderriß, the place is surrounded by mountains and you can enjoy them sitting in the balcony or going to a hike. They give you three good meals, I didn't buy anything else for my time there. But if you want some groceries, you can go to Lenggries (20km away, you can hitchhike or use the bus). Andrea and Frank are good host, they tell you in the breakfast your daily shift and they try to tell you previously your days off. I think that you can talk with them and ask about schedules, tasks, and more. Thanks Andrea, Frank and Lil for the nice time ❤️

I had a great time with Frank, Andrea and Lil (the cutest dog ever) Task varied everyday from working in the garden, the restaurant, the kitchen or doing some housekeeping. You are giving your tasks each morning at breakfast. The meals were great and the portions are really big. You will be out of town, so getting to shops for needs are not easy, but if you love nature, hikes or just being outdoors this is a perfect place for you. The room meets all basic needs, as it is a dorm style room with a shared bathroom, and they recently upgraded the WIFI for much better reception.

This was a great experience overall. It's quite remote—far from the train station and not easy to get supplies—but perfect for hiking and enjoying nature. The work is generally easy, and the hosts are kind and patient, though not overly social. They only offered me one beer the whole time. You can still learn a lot about Bavarian culture if you're interested. Meals are nice home-cooked and mostly good. While some days were long, the hosts made up for it. Wi-Fi is weak in the bedroom but strong in a common room. I'd definitely recommend it!
