Come stay with us at our peaceful 5-acre property in Western Australia, where we rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome all kinds of animals — from wildlife to farm friends and everything in between! As a registered charity, our work is funded by grants and the kindness of others, and now we’re inviting you to be part of it.

Description:
We ask our volunteers to contribute a small fee and to assist with four hours of work per day. We do not profit from your stay, we don’t earn enough to cover the costs involved. Every rescued animal needs food, shelter, medical care and all of these come at a cost. This is not a salary or profit, but a vital contribution that keeps our rescue efforts running. Most importantly, your support helps the animals.

Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details
We require the animals to be fed and offered enrichment, enclosure cleaning. Training will be supplied.
You can attend rescues however this can be very difficult to some people as the injuries can be very traumatic.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers usually do their shift in the morning from 8am and evening at 4pm.
Everyone is responsible for following the procedures for feeding & cleaning.
We require 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon.
Rules
The most important thing with our rescue is that you love and respect all the animals. No aggressive people should apply.
Each person needs to assist with the general household chores and this is not part of the volunteer hours. If you use it you clean it. Dishes need to be washed and dried after each meal, with all kitchen benches cleaned and food put away.
Bathrooms/Toilet needs to be cleaned weekly with cleaning supplies provided.
Laundry facilities are available and dependent on how many volunteers are staying there will be roster set up.
