The experience

Hostel Volunteering in Osaka, Japan

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to join our team.
If you are an organized person, enjoy keeping your surroundings clean and pleasant, and want to experience Japanese culture while helping to create an amazing guest experience, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

As a reward for this work, you will be allowed to stay for free in a staff room located on 6th floor of our hostel.

What you offer

3 hours of help per day

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Japanese

Between 18 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Japan

Program Details

General Cleaning:
- Keep common areas, bedrooms and bathrooms clean and organized.
- Change bed linen and towels, ensuring that everything is always fresh and comfortable for guests.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces, including tables, chairs and seating areas.

- Organization:
- Assist in organizing closets and storage areas.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are always available and organized.

Activities & Shift

-Work as a cleaner of one building for 2 to 3 hours per day.
-Start at 10:30 in the morning.

-We have a seasonal staff event :D

-6 days off per month
