This experience was amazing for allowing me to immerse myself in the local culture. I learned so much about sustainability and how they use their environment for various resources. The children at the school were so welcoming and loving. They were always ready to learn new activities and games. They even taught me new games. Overall, this experience was eye opening and unforgettable.

Staying with Andrew and his family was amazing. You truly are immersed in the local culture. For those from a first world country it may take a few days to adjust to the heat and food but this was a eye opening and amazing experience. You really can make an impact here.

This experience was truly amazing. Andrew and his family are dedicated to providing quality education to underprivileged children and treating each volunteer like family. Thank you so much for the experience of a lifetime! I recommend everyone to volunteer at BCHF if you truly want to make a difference.

Andrew and Becky welcomed us to their home and treated as family. Becky was there most of the days taking care of the volunteers. We implemented new teaching styles to the classes during the kids free time teaching lessons from finance to culture. It was a great time and you do meet diligent students. There's a lot of work that needs to be done at the school and much construction was worked on while I was there. I met some truly amazing friends too. Andrew was very flexible as I had a few request to visit other places during this trip.

This experience is really great if you absolutely love kids. I don't believe they really need volunteers for the school, but just for fun and entertaining the kids. it's a nice experience but do keep the following things in mind: • you are 6 hours away from nairobi, and because of that you can't do many various things in your free time. • only cold showers • the power goes off very often now because of rainy season, so sometimes just no wifi at all • you eat the same thing over and over again (i got nausea because of that) Also, kids / teachers are gonna ask you for money

Hello Angel its with great suprise your review has caught me..but honestly other things happened out of my knowledge, nobody complained to me the shower is cold and this could be worked on,We are on rain season and you know we have backup generator and solar in place and this means we had lights on and wifi.Iam Sorry ,for the teacher and kid who asked for money...and this could be stopped immediately if you had told me in advance. For food ,Sorry to hear it made you nausea and I think we tried to provide meals and change it at our best!

I had a fantastic time at organization. Andrew is a great host, he and his family made me feel like in home. The job he is making with the kids is awesome, the school needs more volunteers to help him with fundraising to accomplish this project. The kids are very sweet and lovable I am gonna miss them so much.

My work at the foundation was incredibly fascinating. The host family of Andrew, as well as all the children from the school are very welcoming and lovingly open for foreigners. The structures still need a lot of help, but being part of the process is enriching in every aspect!

I had such a nice time, this is a once in a lifetime experience. Andrew's family makes you feel at home and the children are so special that you wish you could stay longer or come back sometime. The place where you stay has all you need. I had my own private room but it depends on the number of volunteers. Food is a bit simple but tasty.

This was a beautiful experience ! Andrew makes you feel at home, and the house is quite confortable. You will discover the local culture, through Sunday's church service or through local shows... Also you will know the daily life of one hundred of children, and you will be able to teach them as if you were a real teacher ! The children are aware of how lucky they are, and they are perfect pupils. It was a pleasure to teach them. However, be careful : some people of Andrew's circle could think that you are a "rich white person" !
