My experience at the host was absolutely amazing. Even thought I left early due to personal reasons. Emma & Jam were really understanding about it. The villa you live in, is 30mins walk from the restaurant you work in. Stay is clean and beautiful. I learnt alot with the other workers at the restaurant, also amazing people. You have pretty cut cafes and bars walking distance from your stay. You get a bicycle of your own to explore around. Work is easy, I wish I could stay longer. I will come again surely❤️

I chose the host M because I wanted to connect more with local people through something Vietnam is so famous for: its cuisine. It was a great experience to learn more about their gastronomy and their lovely people. The team is kind and friendly. As a volunteer, I worked at the restaurant interacting with customers as a host and waitress. As a suggestion, it would be wonderful to involve volunteers in the cooking classes they offer, because with proper guidance we could assist the “chef” with anything needed and at the same time learn how to cook delicious Vietnamese dishes. Thanks the host M ☀️💕

An experience that touched me deeply! I felt at home from the first day. The accommodations were perfect: a 10-minute bike ride from the restaurant, with a private and very comfortable room. Meals were a daily treat: both the staff menu and the restaurant's—the best of both worlds. Sharing with the staff connected me to special moments. Hai and Emma took my safety very seriously, always making sure I was comfortable. Although the language was sometimes difficult,we forged beautiful bonds. My greatest treasure: the friendship with Emma and Jam, which I will forever hold in my heart. Thanks a lot

This was my first volunteering experience on Worldpackers and I couldn't recommend it more! Emma the host was lovely and the whole team at the host are epic! Teamwork is a big thing at this place & the energy is very good! I met some relaxing volunteers during my time as well as the respective members of staff. The restaurant serves great food, great to get quality food for a change! The house they give you to stay in is excellent and while the work can be tough sometimes, it's very rewarding and you meet interesting people. I ended up extending my stay by 2 weeks with no regrets

I spent some time volunteering at the host in Hoi An, working 4 hours a day as a waiter. I got to eat from the menu, had a bike to move around, and stayed in a big villa nearby with other volunteers. The work was simple and the vibe was relaxed. What made it special was the people: Emma, Jam, and the rest of the team made me feel like home. We shared a lot of time together, laughed a lot, and become very good friends. It's a place that stays with you even after you leave, I will miss you guys ❤️

The host is a wonderful restaurant, with amazing staff and amazing benefits. You work hard, but play hard too. The staff are very welcoming, and you'll get many local experiences. Overall, I would absolutely recommend volunteering at the host.

💪🏽 / The work is hard, for a few hours the restaurant is packed and you will have to multitask (like everyone else) but it is worth it, the house that I volunteer for looks more like a palace, with 5 floors, so you will be comfortable, Emma is a good host. I had a good experience. 💪🏽
