The people you will meet, contact with nature and with different cultures are guaranteed. Juan, Evi, Sebas n the whole team were very welcoming. Juan has a true love for what he does, I remember that I almost cried when I saw him showing the accommodation to a guest on one of my first days, he did it with great care and love! Evi has a very, very incredible energy, a soul with a lot of light. I became very good friends with Sebas, another volunteer, and I hope to see him on the road again n hear him play the guitar again. I hope to come back one day and see everyone again. Buen Camino! <3

The experience itself has been more than I expected, the reality of the place is extraordinary because the Camino of Santiago makes appear the positive values of the people so there is much time for living in a way which is strongly peaceful and quite. To know new persons from all over the world there was very interesting and has been to me one of the thing more considerable of this experience!!

The hostel is a life experience. There are some positive energies deriving from the happiness of the Pellegrini, the joy of the people working there and feeling like a real family. Francisca and Eduardo are lovely people and provide you with all the love and food you need. You would also have the opportunity to work for a while and then do the Camino; meeting people from around the world and enjoying amazing landscapes. I would like to pose a big thank you to Evilio and Pristilla, the people running the hostel during my staying, as well as to the other volunteers. We were and will be family.

This place is worth it by Evilio, an amazing human being with a big heart, since I arrived he helped me in all the ways, also the experience with the pilgrims can be amazing, of course if you are up to it. Muchas gracias por todo Evilio, e claro os outros hospitaleiros também !

The hostel is an incredible oasis near Astorga. The place is sourrounded by nature and wise people, consequently this place perfectly suits people that are looking for a relaxing working experience in the middle of the camino. The camino is a fundamental component of the albergue, because hosts have the possibility to learn from pilgrims' tales.The staff of the hostel is extremely calm and lovely to everyone.Peace ,silence , deep talks,sharing and great music are just some of the values appreciated here. I've learned so much and now I feel part of this family. Highly recommended!

I love this place. Evilio is an incredible human and the experience was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I am so greatful to have been apart of this family for 2 weeks and learned much about myself in the process. Thank you so much to evilio and Francesca!!! I miss Adya already!

Mi experiencia ha sido inolvidable. Ha sido mi primer voluntariado y no podría haber elegido mejor lugar. Me he sentido como en casa. El lugar es precioso y tranquilo, el ambiente de los peregrinos super buenas vibes, y Juan es el mejor: Cocina increíble, tiene huerto del que nos alimentamos nosotros y los peregrinos, y si le das el 100, te da el 110. Es un voluntariado para hacer con ganas ya que se hacen tareas durante el día, desde limpiar habitaciones, a check ins, servir cena, bar… Si tienes ganas de aprender y buscas buen ambiente y tranquilidad al mismo tiempo, es tu sitio ☺️

Mi primera experiencia en un voluntario y todo a sido magico, excelentes compañeros y Juan una persona maravillosa, espero poder repetir esta experiencia en alguna otra ocacion me llevo sobre todo los mejores recuerdos y momentos comprtidos juntos a las demas personas

Es un voluntariado muy bonito pero si no vas con ganas y energía definitivamente este no es para tí. Las tareas son variadas: desde la limpieza en gral del albergue, checks in, estar atentos al bar y a cualquier cosa que necesiten l@s peregrin@s hasta servir la cena. Es una muy linda experiencia ya que realizas tareas variadas y conoces gente de muchos países. Más que recomendable 😁 Saludos Juan, Mateo y toda la tropa..... Joder macho, en el hostel se está de Put a Madreeee 🤣

Me sentí como en casa desde el primer momento. Gracias a Juan y su actitud abierta y acogedora. Él es una persona muy buena y siempre me ha tratado con mucho respeto y amabilidad. Me encantaba trabajar y tener conversaciones de cualquier cosa con él, las tareas eran sencillas y también había suficiente tiempo para relajarse y disfrutar la naturaleza y belleza de este lugar. No puedo describir adecuadamente que majo mi estancia en el albergue era, pero de verdad es una experiencia que solo puedo recomendar a todos. Gracias a todos que estaban allí conmigo, os echaré de menos :)
