For it being our first experience with worldpacker we were really lucky. The place is a bit isolated but maybe the beauty of it is that it allows you to come into better contact with nature😍. In the farm we always did something different learning many new things💪🏻 The whole family is really very kind and nice. We were really sad to leave because we bonded a lot with them, with the children (who are really cute) and also with the grandparents who always have some nice stories to tell. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience, we will miss you ❤️

I spent 2 months in the farm with Giulia, my girlfriend, and the experience was simply amazing😍 This was our first experience on Worldpackers and as soon as we arrived Jon and Generosa welcomed us with sympathy and kindness, as if we were members of their family😊 We made lot of different gardening and home activities, so it's impossible to get bored here😁 Furthermore, the works hours and the weekly day off have always been respected. I would like to recommend to everyone this experience, expecially if you love to walk in the Nature and to eat good food (Generosa cooks delicious dishes😋)

The experience was phenomenal. The landscape is straight out of fantasy. Many hikes nearby and swimming spots. The family is super friendly and they get along with you well. The grandparents are super sweet. The volunteering is moderate work around 4 hours working around the farm and 2 hours cooking. You get to work on tasks like, apple tree pruning, cider packaging, forest foraging, etc. The location is a bit remote and no shops nearby. You can ask them to drive you or go to Stavanger and other places in the weekend. Going here is one of the best decisions I've made!!

I really enjoyed my 1 month volunteering on this the farm. If you want to discover Norwegian culture, be in the middle of nature and learn more about an apple farm/culture this place is for you. During your time off you can easily hike around, watch the sheep and admire the sunsets over the fjord. The missions are varied, which makes them fun (planting trees, making apple jelly, cooking, taking care of the apple trees, etc.). The timetables and food are more than adequate. Plus, Generosa is a great cook. The whole family is friendly and welcoming. I can't recommend it highly enough!

At first, thank you Generosa and Jon Anders for everything! This was my first trip I took with worldpackers and I can recomend it a lot to everybody who likes a quiet place without much hustle. This place is a perfect one when you are a little bit more of an introverted person and maybe a little scared of your first travel. Everybody was really kind and helping. You can get in touch with nature and take beautiful trips with the car (or without). I learned a lot while working (and also in my free time) and it wasn't to hard. It was interesting and varied!

We had a good time meeting the whole family and working together. Everyone was really nice and made us feel welcome. We were included in family dinners and went on little trips on the Fjord. We had various different work tasks: We helped Jon Anders and Generosa with labeling the apple products, which we could also taste. Besides that we helped with household chores, cooking and organizing the house alongside them. Outside, we helped Jon Anders father with cutting apple trees. We learned from him about ecological farming. It was an overall great experience which we can only recommend :)
