This was a great volunteering experience! We were given a lovely room with the most comfortable bed for the entire stay. We enjoyed trying lots of local dishes and working with the other volunteers. The staff were so friendly and respectdful and the work was very chill. It worked perfectly for us doing this at the end of our Sri Lanka trip as we were content with there not being a lot else to do in the area. Thanks Athula & team. Highly reccomend!

I don't even know how to describe this experience, everything was perfect! The kindest people we've ever met, everyone was so lovely with us. The job is chill and flexible, we had a really great time and got to know so much about the culture. They provided a private luxury hotel room, was the best place we stayed in during our time in Sri Lanka. Definitely would recommend, Athula, Sameer and Manel were so lovely!

This was an unreal volunteer experience and I would highly recommend for anyone looking to wind down and relax in a beautiful location. In exchange of housekeeping, restaurant/bar service or front office roles you get a lovely room, delicious meals and access to the gym and pool here. All of the staff are incredibly kind and friendly. Thankyou Athula!

This was my very first volunteer experience and I couldn't have chosen a better place! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome, always kind, flexible and clear in their communication. Athula, the host, was the best boss I could ask for, making sure I felt comfortable every day. The warm atmosphere made the hotel feel like home. Work was well-organized with a relaxed vibe, and I had freedom to explore Sri Lanka. I'm so grateful I started my volunteering journey here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and rewarding experience!

I had a great experience in the hotel. The host was super friendly and nice with us, he even took us around Colombo and helped us with everything we needed at all times including transportation for our trips, recommendation of activities... The staff at the hotel was also super nice and kind with us at all times. I would definitely recommend this experience to everyone!

Volunteering through Worldpackers at the hotel was the best time of my life. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and I felt at home from the start. I loved meeting so many amazing people from around the world who were also traveling. I also had the chance to learn a lot about the local culture directly from the people there, which made the experience even more meaningful. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable adventure!

I truly felt welcomed and respected from the very beginning, our host, Athula, made this stay unforgettable for us, we learnt so much about Sri Lanka from him. We were exposed to all of Sri Lanka's authentic, traditional food, it was delicious. We were given a beautiful hotel room and the use of the facilities in our free time. Athula made our experience even more wonderful by showing us around the crazy Colombo markets for the day. Loved my time at the hotel. A huge thank you to Athula for making it so special!

I can honestly say that my time at the hotel was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming, especially Mr Athula (our host). He took the time out of his day to show us around and explore the surrounding areas on multiple occasions just to show us his beautiful country. The accommodation was 11/10 and the food was even better. This was our first Worldpackers experience and I don't think it could have gone better. The area itself is a little isolated but when you aren't working you are treated like a guest in a luxury hotel, so, could be worse. Staff and everyone else are also super friendly.
