My stay at the host was nothing but wonderful experience. The whole team made me feel incredibly welcomed and they would always make sure that we had everything we needed and more. I really enjoyed eating, talking and laughing together with all the staff and other volunteers. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves nature, wants to eat good food (and cakes!) and enjoys to be part of a wonderful community!

My experience was absolutely amazing!! I enjoyed every second on this farm. All the people are so kind, friendly and welcoming. They took such a good care of me, were flexible with shifts, provided me with everything i needed and were a great company. I also met lots of other volunteers and enjoyed spending time with them. The farm is a beating place in the nature, close to the lake, forest and amazing views. I also had lots of time for myself and relaxing. I found here everything i was looking for. Recommend to everyone who wants to slow down for a little bit and have fun while working!

Spending two weeks in the host has been the best thing that could have happened to me this year. I wanted to be in a quiet place to connect with myself, but at the same time to meet people from different countries and get to know other cultures. Without a doubt the host has been the perfect place for that. The people who work there and with whom I have been fortunate to meet had always a smile on their face which makes the work very bereable and you enjoy it much more. For me the host, its people and its surroundings have made this volunteering an unforgettable experience and I hope to return.

This was my first volunteering project and I cannot recommend it enough!!! I had such a great time at the host, I felt very welcomed and everyone was extremely kind. The team works very hard and always checked in on us, to make sure we had everything we needed and we were comfortable and happy with our work! The nature and landscape is beautiful and it is only a short walk to the lake. Again, thank you for this great time :) I really hope I will be able to return in the future and see everyone again!

The host is such a beautiful place. The nature is stunning, and the people there are extremely kind, understanding and caring! I worked in the kitchen, which I really enjoyed. Every task was thoroughly explained, and I always felt like my work was appreciated. They also asked me if there is anything in particular I wanted to learn, which I thought was very thoughtful! Furthermore, it was super nice to live with other volunteers and I met some great people. I would definitely recommend this experience if you're looking for a peaceful time in nature! Thank you so much for having me!!

This was my first volunteering experience and I can just recomend it! Everyone there is so nice, kind and friendly, they did everything so we have a good time there. Working with them made the work pleasant. I worked in the kitchen, sometimes I helped with preparing meals, sometimes with cleaning in the kitchen and sometimes with drying the dishes. The place is also amazing, you can go for a walk or take a bike and explore surroundings. The sunset over the lake which is about 5 minutes away is beautiful. Thank you for this amazing experience!

I spent only one week in the host but my experience was great. The people are really nice, the location is amazing and it's a good place where to relax and stay in touch with nature. There's not much in the surroundings but there are beautiful trails all around the lake, one of which I did by bike (volunteers are given bikes to explore the area). I worked mostly in the kitchen - sometimes I did "easier" tasks such as preparing meals, some other times I helped with the dishwashing that for me was a bit more exhausting. All in all, I had a wonderful stay and I hope to come back one day!

My 3 weeks at the host were really nice. Lia is such a caring person, she always makes sure the volunteers have everything they need and are having a good time. You can explore the surrounding towns and nature by bike or Kanu, go swimming in the lake or go on amazing walks. Working hours are respected, at the beginning you do mostly dishwashing at the café and later more tasks in the kitchen. In the garden you get to do weeding & pruning 🌿☀️ The café team is so sweet! You don't spend that much time with them outside work though, because they live at Elsebråne Retreat Center I'll miss u 🩷🩷

The host was my first volunteering experience and I loved every minute of it!! Everyone was incredibly kind and I had a great time with the other volunteers as well. The nature is stunning and one of my favorite things to do was to watch the sunset over the lake. I also loved driving around the area by bike and swimming in the lake. Celebrating midsummer was so much fun as well! The atmosphere is no nice and the team really makes you feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend this place!!

I had an amazing time at the host! The team was incredibly friendly and welcoming right from the beginning, always checking in on us. I felt like all the work I did in the cleaning and housekeeping position was very valued and appreciated, and at the same time, never too much. Furthermore, the food was absolutely delicious, and the place and nature surrounding it stunningly beautiful. I had the opportunity to explore everything, either by going on walks or taking a bike.
