I just spent 2 wonderful weeks in the cafe/guesthouse in the host, mainly with Aneta and Mathilde who were patient in explaining the varied tasks, and made sure you did only your agreed hours. Lia regularly checked in to see that you were happy and to ask if you needed anything. Lodgings were simple but comfortable. The surrounding nature was wild and wonderful. Great place if you like walks in forests, lake swims, cycles to local village 6km - (bikes provided).Meeting other volunteers of all nationalities and ages was fantastic. Thank you to the whole team at the host for this adventure.

Simply a unique experience! Every one of the staff has been very kind to us volunteers and always helped us whenever we needed. The nature around the place is amazing, you can spend your time there swimming in the lake, walking through forest or even going for a ride with the bike to other villages. I really enjoyed my time there and made good friendships with the other volunteers. I truly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to live in nature and experience Swedish summer. The work was exactly what I was told and they were always checking if everything was okay!

I had a truly wonderful time at the host. It was my first solo travel experience and I felt welcomed from the very first day. The place is absolutely beautiful and everyone there is incredibly kind and patient. They provided us with food (both by cooking for us and doing the grocery shopping) so we didn't have to spend any money on meals. How much time you spend with the other volunteers can vary, depending on how many people are there and the different work shifts everyone has. But I personally met a lot of wonderful people. So all in all, I can recommend this experience :)

I really enjoyed my time in the host, the team was very welcoming and helpful. The working hours were always agreed to beforehand and the work itself was quite nice, especially if you enjoy working in a kitchen :) I loved connecting with other travelers and exploring the area together

I had an amazing time in the host. Its the most peaceful place, I have ever been to. Its right next to a huge lake, where we could swim. They also gave us bikes to explore the surroundings and recommended us trips. The work was simple and often fun. Aneta was training us very well and was super patient with everyone. Overall I can definetely recommend going to the host!

My stay at the host was super relaxing and perfect to get in touch with nature and other volunteers as well as the extremely welcoming staff there:) The work in the garden varies depending on the season, Kathi and I mostly did weeding around some rosebeds, but also picked apples on a lovely fruit orchard, sometimes we also picked berries for the cakes in the café. All in all I can only recommend volunteering at the host - especially in the garden as I did. Guys, come and support this wonderful community project!

It was so nice to reconnect with nature and to learn about the swedish way of living! That was my first experience with worldpackers and i couldn't be more grateful, that everything went well! The food there was delicious and the nature was great!

I loved my stay at the host. Everyone was kind and I felt really welcomed. I also learned much about substainable living and planting trees and they explained everything to me I didn't know beforehand about gardening. Thank you for this amazing time. :)

My stay at the host was nothing but wonderful experience. The whole team made me feel incredibly welcomed and they would always make sure that we had everything we needed and more. I really enjoyed eating, talking and laughing together with all the staff and other volunteers. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves nature, wants to eat good food (and cakes!) and enjoys to be part of a wonderful community!
