Chinese Guest Service Agent
The experience
-Greet and assist Chinese-speaking guests.
-Provide information about our hostel amenities and nearby attractions.
-Help with check-ins, check-outs, and other front desk duties as needed.
-Assist with translations and communications between guests and staff.
-Support in managing bookings and responding to inquiries in Chinese.
-Participate in occasional guest activities, such as BBQ nights or city tours, to foster community engagement.

Beginner English and Beginner Chinese
Over 18 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details
As a Chinese Guest Service Agent, you will assist our team in ensuring Chinese-speaking guests feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for during their stay. This position is perfect for someone outgoing, friendly, and fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese, with a passion for hospitality and cultural exchange.
Activities & Shift
Respond to general inquiries from guests. Work for 5 hours a day, during 7am - 10 pm
Rules
You are not allowed to enter guest rooms.
You are not allowed to take any left behind items. If you found any left behind items, please report to Front Desk crew.
You are not allowed to bring any guests into the restricted area and your room. Your guests are welcome in the lobby area during Front desk hours.
