My experience was really amazing, I been sharing the campsite with really amazing team, working with different people around the world, the owner provides you a bicycle to move when ever you want, is very usefull in Amsterdam. The work hours have been respected all the time and you have opportunity to learn how works a campsite from inside. I would like return once the campsite is completely finished.

It was amazingly good to have you here as well. I think a very good nickname for you would be 'the silent power' cause you were always ready to go on and take action. Thanks for being with us and I hope to see you some time in the future. Keep up the good work! Ciao amigo!

This experience was good to explore Amsterdam by bike and to enjoy life while camping, even though there were some difficulties with the place being still in progress. Overall the experience was nice and accessible even for someone that never went camping. Even though the communal kitchen was not ready we had good alternatives and we got reimbursed for our food expenses. The place is in the middle of Amsterdam and Haarlem so it's very easy to explore both and the Netherlands' countryside. Weather is finally getting good and it's all getting more enjoyable!

Personally I had a good time in the camping site, the manages Elias is a good guy who look after volunteers but the place is still in construction so will be nice if he had more help, at least someone in charge exclusively to deal with the customers and the volunteers coukd help. In that way Elias with a help from some volunteers could finish all the pending projects that he has on mind. If you apply for this volunteer be aware that you will stay in a tent around nature. Overall I recommend this place, definitely I would like to come back when is finished. Regards Arnoud and Elias, thanks

I applied for gardening, farming, and construction but found little work. I accepted cleaning and reception tasks, though they weren't part of my role. The manager, Elias, was hostile, yelling over small mistakes. He gave vague instructions, and expected perfection from new volunteers as if they had the experience of those who'd been there for a month. He even banned bikes, though we later negotiated their use. I left abruptly, feeling the situation wasn't worth it, I was giving more than I was receiving. The schedules are disorganized, one day 5 volunteers working, the next day just 1.

First off, I'm not sure why the ratings of this experience are so good, It's one of the worse experiences you could get in worldpackers. The host is absolutely abusive to proactive people, any kind of interaction (except when you obey him) will lead to some kind of angry answer and destructive comments. The infrastructure is poor and it's still constructing (the manager does NOT prioritize volunteer comfort at all, I'd even say he avoids it). And the tasks are not the expected. You will be asked (and forced) to clean bathrooms and do reception no matter what you applied for.

The place is a campsite and you can't expect much, but the least you can do is have the manager Elias not be there all day smoking joints, disappearing because he took ecstasy and can't work for 3 days, they hire crazy people who end up harassing clients, the manager is a drug addict with anger issues who gets angry at the slightest thing, the best thing about the campsite is going to Stoke and hanging out there because the camping doesn't meet Worldpacker or legal requirements, honestly Arnold, if you're going to answer any nonsense you'd better shut up because you weren't there.

It was a very short experience due to issues that are beyond our control, but the people are very kind and friendly; They do group activities among the volunteers to have more unity. I want to thank Arnou for contacting me and offering me an additional place to continue my volunteering, he was very kind and gentle; However, I got an opportunity that I was waiting for and I couldn't spend any more time in Amsterdam. I hope to return in a few months, thank you. I hope to meet you and your dog in person one day.

The campsite is a very pleasant place, located in a quiet area surrounded by nature. The facilities are excellent, with clean bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and easy access to the camping. The atmosphere is welcoming, with wonderful volunteers, bicycles available for use, and even free food and drinks. It's the perfect spot for those who enjoy camping and are looking for a peaceful and enriching experience. However, my experience wasn't perfect due to the rude and aggressive behavior of the only manager Elias. He showed a lack of skill in managing teams, creating an uncomfortable environment

I didn't volunteer at this campsite but at a restaurant in Almere, however I did stay in a tent and that was... an experience. People are so nice but I wish they could've been clearer about working days and schedules, we're supposed to work 32H a week but the restaurant opens 10H a day and remains closed for 2 or 3 days (this may vary), if you talk to them then you'll only work this time but I just wish it didn't feel like asking for permission when it's our right. The good thing is that we could eat from the restaurant which was so nice. FYI: WiFi doesn't reach the volunteers campsite

Arnaud is a good guy but the site manager Matteo is a depraved guy, he's violent, aggressive and has been sued plenty of times for this... It's sad how only one person can ruin an entire experience. Had to leave without notice because of this, I felt extremely threatened.. Bad experience, wouldn't recommend..
