About the experience in: Gia Lâm, Vietnam
United Kingdom
Our volunteering experience had challenges due to poor communication, cleanliness, and organisation. On arrival, there was no proper welcome, and we had to ask about everything. The whole place was cold. Dorms lacked security, and bedding wasn't changed. Bathrooms were unclean, and mould was present. Teaching was more of a language exchange with little guidance. Social spaces were lacking, making it feel isolating. While Harry took some feedback on board, other concerns were dismissed. We left early, as did others. The place has potential, but better organisation and upkeep are needed.

We also want to note that facilities may vary across different countries, and while we strive to offer a comfortable environment, it may not always match the standards you are familiar with in the UK.
While we’re sorry to see you leave early, we appreciate your honesty and will use your feedback to improve the experience for future volunteers.
