I would 100% recommend this experience. I had such an amazing time and made some fantastic friends. The homestay is very social and has such a lovely vibe to it. The work is relaxed and very rewarding- you talk to the students and practice conversation for a few hours in the evening. The homestay is an hour bus ride from Hanoi old quater and you have will have much time during the day to explore. I had such a nice time and definitely want to come back someday!

It was an overall great experience staying at the Homestay. It is a place with social and chill vibes where you'll meet both local Vietnamese people and other volunteers. It's located in a nice local area with easy access to the city centre, making it ideal for recharging after a long period of traveling. The "work" itself is really fun- just guided conversation with adults- and usually less hours than described. The host (Harry) is also very helpful and accommodating with anything you need. The only thing that needs some improvement is the cleanliness of the facilities.

I had a lovely experience at the homestay in Hanoi. The other volunteers and the staff/leaders were super friendly and worldly and we connected easily. Although there was a language barrier between the students and us, we were still able to connect with them and they were super friendly! The classes were very chill and not too hard, and we were given plenty of free time to do other activities. Location was pretty good and taking the bus to Hanoi was really easy and cheap. I would definitely recommend this experience to other travelers and I think it's an amazing way to meet new people!

I had such a great time at the homestay! Everything about this place is amazing - the atmosphere, the work, the people. I have made so many memories with the other volunteers and students - teaching English to the students was such a core memory as they were so eager to learn! Easy work for good accommodation and hospitality. Special shout out to Vu (House Manager). He was so very kind to me & made me feel to welcomed!

I really liked my time in the homestay. Both staff and volunteers were very nice and made the co-living experience pleasant. The volunteer itself was not hard, the staff guided you on what to talk about with the students and the students themselves were all eager to learn which made the teaching very enjoyable and fun. What I liked the most is that the classes were at 7:30 pm which meant that you had the whole morning and afternoon to explore Hanoi.

I had a wonderful experience, where I taught English. Harry and David were incredibly responsible and ensured everything ran smoothly. The environment was welcoming, and the students were eager to learn, making teaching truly enjoyable. The homestay itself was comfortable. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a meaningful cultural exchange and teaching opportunity!

Cuong (Harry) is a special man. He was very helpful in welcoming me to his Homestay, which has been so much fun. Harry has a good team around him, but still manages to find the time to take you around the local area and teach you about their culture. The "work" is lovely - have a conversation and correct key errors. The area is cheap and authentic. We (volunteers, teachers and locals) would go out for meals together, we planned a trip to a mountain and a teacher invited us to his home. It's a social place and exactly what I was hoping for to connect with people. If unsure, talk to Harry :)

The Homestay may not be first what you expect from the Homestay. As said on the profile you don't get food, but there is a kitchen where only the water cooker doesn't work. This is not such a big issue since it's in a non touristic area, where everything is cheaper and better. The place is also not very clean, but you always get hot showers and good wifi. Besides the Homestay not being the most clean, you don't have to work a lot and everyone working, living or studying in the Homestay is super nice and welcoming. I came back one time, because I liked the people so much. They feel like family.
