Staying at this homestay was one of the best experiences I've had. The people were so kind and genuine—it felt like I was part of a little family. Every moment here was full of fun and laughter, from the peaceful picnic outings to the everyday little adventures. Teaching the kids was such a joy! Some of them were the sweetest, and some… well, let's just say they weren't exactly fans of me (haha), but that's what made it all the more unforgettable. If you're looking for a place with heart, connection, and real experiences, this is it.

I had an amazing experience at the Homestay!! The volunteers, students and staff were incredibly kind, funny and welcoming :) The place is very social, with lots of people going out to explore the city and trying fun activities! The work itself is easy and laidback, mostly just having conversations with locals about life! Only about 2hrs a day, so you'll have lots of time to explore the area. Hanoi city centre is only about 1hr by bus or 30 min by bike. But don't worry… the homestay area is also very vibrant with great food, shops and karaoke!

Volunteering in Vietnam, teaching English at the homestay, was an unforgettable experience. I was welcomed with incredible hospitality and met the kindest people who made me feel right at home. It's the perfect place for meaningful interactions and cultural exchange. The people and students in the homestay are really welcoming and took us along on local adventures to explore the country and truly experience their culture. It was heartwarming to be part of such a generous community.

I would come back 100% at the homestay. Although the instructions were not clear, the vibe there makes it totally worth it! I made really food friends there (both volunteers & local people from Hanoi region). And the job is basically sitting and speaking English with the students. Harry is an amazing host, very welcoming, very funny and yet very professional. The staff is similar and they warmly welcomed me when I got there to make me feel at home. See you soon and thank you so much for the opportunity!

Stayed in the homestay for almost 3 months. It was my first time volunteering so I didn't know what to expect but I was quickly met with hospitality from the friendly students, volunteers, managers, and owner. I will be very sad the day that I leave since I became used to the environment and made many friendships. After moving around countries without feeling at home, I felt like I finally had a place where I could be myself and feel at home. This has been one of the best experiences in my entire life and I will always treasure it, hoping I could come back someday. Thanks for everything :)

This homestay has truly been a home away from home. I was only supposed to stay for a short while, but now I wish they had a minimum 1-month stay—because leaving is honestly heartbreaking! The hosts—David, Harry, and especially Margret are some of the kindest and sweetest people I've met in Vietnam. Always supportive, always smiling, and genuinely invested in making sure you have an unforgettable experience. Food, fun and friendship you will find it all here. Love you guys and thank you for everything❤️

I had a short, but truly meaningful stay at the Homestay. The local staff, the students and the volunteers had a positive, genuine and beautiful energy. I had the chance to understand better about the vietnamese culture and history through their perspectives. Even though I was the one tutoring, I also felt like a student as I learned so much. The facilities are humble, but functional and, although it's not in the center area, you can access it through a 10k bus ride. There are many cafes and restaurants around — we even have discounts! It was definitely a worthy experience!

I would 100% recommend this experience. I had such an amazing time and made some fantastic friends. The homestay is very social and has such a lovely vibe to it. The work is relaxed and very rewarding- you talk to the students and practice conversation for a few hours in the evening. The homestay is an hour bus ride from Hanoi old quater and you have will have much time during the day to explore. I had such a nice time and definitely want to come back someday!

It was an overall great experience staying at the Homestay. It is a place with social and chill vibes where you'll meet both local Vietnamese people and other volunteers. It's located in a nice local area with easy access to the city centre, making it ideal for recharging after a long period of traveling. The "work" itself is really fun- just guided conversation with adults- and usually less hours than described. The host (Harry) is also very helpful and accommodating with anything you need. The only thing that needs some improvement is the cleanliness of the facilities.

I had a lovely experience at the homestay in Hanoi. The other volunteers and the staff/leaders were super friendly and worldly and we connected easily. Although there was a language barrier between the students and us, we were still able to connect with them and they were super friendly! The classes were very chill and not too hard, and we were given plenty of free time to do other activities. Location was pretty good and taking the bus to Hanoi was really easy and cheap. I would definitely recommend this experience to other travelers and I think it's an amazing way to meet new people!
