Join our Bedouin family and play a key role in sharing the magic of our desert adventures! Your mission is to capture the unforgettable moments of our excursions through stunning photos and videos, showcasing the beauty of the Sahara on Instagram, Facebook, and Booking. You’ll also help manage future bookings and respond to guest messages, ensuring every traveler has an amazing and memorable experience.

What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 7 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Donation to project

Description: We ask for a small contribution of $7 to help cover the cost of food and basic necessities like light and tech equipment during your stay. This helps us maintain the space and ensure a comfortable experience for everyone. Your contribution is much appreciated!

What you get

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Volunteer Program at Dar Nomad in Tagounite, Morocco

Welcome to Dar Nomad, a sanctuary of cultural immersion and authentic desert living, located in Tagounite, at the gateway of the vast Sahara. As a family of Berber heritage, we open our hearts and home to volunteers who seek a meaningful experience rooted in tradition, simplicity, and the beauty of nature. Here’s what you can expect from our program:

Program Highlights:
• Cultural Exchange: Live among the Berber community and gain firsthand insight into the traditions, language, and cuisine that define our heritage.
• Traditional Mud-Building: Join us in restoring our 400-year-old home using traditional mud-brick techniques. Experience the satisfaction of building with your own hands, using sustainable and natural materials that connect deeply with the land and environment.

Activities & Shift

• Gardening and Farming: Help us cultivate our desert garden, plant new crops, and care for the date palms in our oasis. Discover how we maintain agriculture in an arid environment and learn the true value of water conservation in the desert.
• Artistic Projects & Design: Contribute your creativity through painting and decorating walls using Berber motifs and natural colors, bringing life and soul to our living spaces.
• Culinary Experience: Participate in cooking sessions led by a real Berber woman—my family. Learn how to prepare traditional Moroccan dishes like tagines, bread, and more while enjoying the warmth of our home-cooked meals.

Living Experience:
• Stay in simple but charming accommodations, including private and communal mud rooms and traditional Berber tents.
• Sleep under star-filled skies, away from the hustle and smog of cities, and wake up to the sunlight dancing.
