Amanda is a truly amazing woman! I felt so welcomed and at home, more so than any previous volunteering experience. It was an honour to see how much she does for her community and the beautiful life she creates with her son oliver. She really respected my time, gave me great recommendations for the area and lent me a bike to go and see them! I couldn't reccomend it more. I had a really really lovely time working there and will remember it for a very long time ! Wishing them both the best !

Amanda is an incredible host, she made us feel at home. We also shared with her mom who is friendly and nice too. The tasks are varied and she is really open to new ideas to accomplish the task. The schedules are flexible, as well as the days off. Amanda made sure we didn't go over our hours. The city of Killarney is a very tourist city and its national park is beautiful. In short, I recommend this experience 100%. Thank you for everything, Amanda, we really enjoyed our stay with you! We hope see you and Oliver again 😁

Staying at Amanda's place was a wonderful experience! She is incredibly kind and truly appreciates every task we helped with, always making us feel at home. The work involved remodeling her house, and she explains everything very clearly, always willing to answer any questions. I would 100% recommend this experience! Amanda, it was a pleasure to meet you, Little Monkey, and your mother. I hope we were able to contribute a bit to your project, and I'm sure your house will look amazing once everything is finished!

I stayed with Amanda and Oliver for a week. Work was great. Never any pressure, as long as you gave your time and did your tasks. She suggested a walk nearby and was happy to point me in the right direction when I couldn't find it. It ended up being a hike but thats another story. I was looking to do physical work when I was there, and it was definitely delivered on. I was also able to do less physical work when needed. She listened and adapted. My time felt like my time there. Couldn't recommend her enough if your planning to stay anywhere near Kerry. Wish her and Oliver all the best.

This was, without a doubt, the best volunteer experience I've ever had! Amanda is an incredible person, she welcomed me with such warmth, was super attentive and made me feel at home from the beginning. The work is relaxed, and the free time was even more special: I loved being part of the family, talking to Amanda and playing with Oliver ❤️. They have earned a place in my heart and I will carry them with me for the rest of my life. I highly recommend this volunteer and also the city. It was an unforgettable experience.

I had a lovely time staying with Amanda! I would absolutely recommend the experience for other solo female travelers (or anyone). The work was fulfilling to complete, and Amanda was very flexible with the hours/ scheduling. During my stay, I worked mostly on restoration in the house and garden, and found it so interesting to see the historical details! The accommodation was private and comfortable. The area is wonderful for hiking and outdoor activities, and the national park is incredibly scenic. There are activities in the town as well, and the locals are very kind and welcoming.

Volunteering with Amanda was the perfect first Worldpacking experience. I learned and practiced so many skills during the month, and thoroughly enjoyed helping her renovate her beautiful home. She was incredibly lenient and flexible, and not to mention and amazing baker. She trusted your independence with tasks but was always around to help if needed. I would definitely recommend this stay!
