It was a very enriching experience. The volunteering mainly involved gardening and helping with the reconstruction of a house, which was both rewarding and well organized. The host was very kind and always willing to help and explain the tasks, making us feel welcome and part of the project from the first day. It's a great opportunity to learn, contribute, and connect with nature and people. I would definitely recommend it to other travelers

Amanda was a fantastic host from beginning to end. Very welcoming, kind, and always available, she made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. My stay at Killarney in Amanda's house was amazing. Amanda and Oliver are lovely and incredible people. I really recommend this volunteer if you want to learn about construction; Amanda is always there to teach you everything, and the tasks are simple but you enjoy them very much. They made me feel at home from the first time we saw and his house is really beautiful and cozy♥️ She is super flexible with the schedule and shifts. You are always going to meet international volunteers and is amazing too. Don't doubt and apply ♥️ I'm really thankful to Amanda and Oliver for everything

I definitely enjoyed my time in killarney. Amanda is a very kind person and always open to talk. She is very flexible regarding the work and always told me how to do things. The area has lots of things to do since the national park and the town are just 10 minutes away. If you want to spend your time in a beautiful town in a welcoming household, this is the perfect spot for you.

I really liked my stay at the home, Amanda is a great host, she is very nice, kind and respectful, she teached me how to do the work and made sure that I had everything I needed. The work is a little physically demanding but not to much, and if you like being outside and working with your hands, you'll really enjoy it. Also you'll never work more than five hours per day. The accomodation is private and the house is very clean. I also enjoyed a lot Killarney, the national park is very beautiful and you can easily get there on the bike from the house. I highly recommend this experience!

Amanda is a very kind and welcoming person, always ready to help and support you. Working in the garden has been flexible, and she's very understanding with schedules. Although the physical work — especially moving stones — can be demanding, with a good attitude it's absolutely worth it. The experience has been positive and rewarding overall. My stay at Amanda's house in Killarney was very pleasent. Amanda is an incredible host, really welcoming. She would invite me to have lunch together with her lovely child Oliver. Regarding work, she was very flexible and helpful. The best thing was being 10 minutes away from Town and even closer to the gorgeous national park. Despite being ten thousand kilometres away from my country, i felt home. Very thankful with her.
