As an eco-volunteer, you’ll help maintain the school grounds, care for animals, and build or improve small structures to support daily operations.
You’ll collaborate with other volunteers and staff, all while immersed in an inspiring, multicultural environment full of learning, purpose, and natural beauty 🌿💚
What you offer
32 hours of help per week
Animal Care:
Help look after and take care of animals.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
Additional fee required

US$ 10
Per day
Description:
Please note that the additional cost is for the homestay, which is $10 per day. This includes a private room for the volunteer to enjoy during their stay.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Free Tours:
We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!
Surfboards:
You can use our surfboards as much as you want.
Surf lessons:
Take free surf classes at the local beaches.
Language lessons:
Take free language classes at our place.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Requirements
Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish
Between 18 and 60 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details
As an eco and sustainability volunteer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, green, and inspiring space for children to learn and thrive.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting with the care of school animals such as chickens and small pets
Maintaining outdoor learning areas, gardens, and play spaces
Supporting small-scale construction or repairs (e.g., fences, compost bins, garden beds)
Participating in creative upcycling or repurposing projects
Collaborating with staff on sustainability-focused school initiatives
Assisting in organizing spaces and materials that align with the Montessori method
We welcome volunteers with a hands-on attitude, love for nature, and interest in eco-conscious living 🌞
You’ll receive orientation and guidance from the team and be encouraged to contribute your ideas to make our space even better.
