Program Details

The school on Isla Santa Cruz is growing steadily, and we have the materials, space, and support from families and Casa en el Agua. Your role is simple: plan 1-3 engaging activities based on the children's interests, school at 2:30 PM, set up materials for the 3 PM class, teach until 5:30, clean up and end at 6. Focus on self-directed play, keeping lessons light and enjoyable. Manage program materials, as they’re expensive and sourced from Cartagena. Children learn best through play, this is our guiding philosophy.

Remember to take breaks and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere at Casa en el Agua, but prioritize the children's learning. I’m eager to see how different teachers contribute to our program. Capture videos and photos for our Instagram to help with donations and recruiting. Stay in touch about your experiences, and most importantly, have fun!
