I volunteered at the eco village through Worldpackers and stayed for 6 days. I honestly wished I could've stayed longer if I didn't have other travel plans. The experience was amazing—the mountain and forest views were beyond expectations, and the waterfalls were absolutely stunning. The accommodations are nestled between the mountains, perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet. The food was delicious, the people were kind, and the work hours were super flexible. I truly enjoyed every moment there.

I had a wonderful time at the eco village, even though I had to cut my stay short due to some health issues. I'm truly grateful to Angelo for taking care of me. He's such a great host. My perspective on bamboo has changed, and the whole experience was eye-opening. The place is peaceful, beautiful, and quiet, so different from the hustle and noise of the city. I was able to immerse myself in the community, and although it was a bit challenging to adjust at first, the experience was incredibly grounding. the eco village humbles you. It makes you appreciate the simple things we often take for granted.

This was my third volunteering experience, and to be honest, it was my favorite so far! The place is amazing the people, the accommodation, everything. We had plenty of food provided. I learned a lot about bamboo construction, and at the same time, it was nice to see how the eco village works. It's not just a bamboo farm; they also work closely with the community. Everyone working there is always happy and welcoming. One great thing is that you can contribute in the area you're most interested in,whether it's farming, construction, or design. Angelo is always there to help you, with a big smile.

An ever evolving example of an alternative Eco-conscious way of living. The property is filled with multiple surreal bamboo structures. For my working hours I spent most of my time landscaping for a community garden for the Matigsalug Tribe. Spent some of my free time playing basketball, singing kareokee, and just getting to learn about their lives and culture. Explored the near by nature too. Learned the basics of bamboo building, permaculture, and earth building from the knowledgeable and kind host Angelo. Also had a beautiful conversation with Rica, about life and the world. Thank you HFS!

We had an amazing time at the eco village. Angelo, our host, went above and beyond to make us feel at home and to give us the best experience possible. Our learning was comprehensive and encompassed theoretical bamboo lectures, practical gardening work and the creative freedom to work on our own bamboo passion projects. Working and learning alongside the Matigsalug tribe was a truly special experience that I will treasure closely. The whole team at the eco village are thoughtful, attentive to detail, welcoming and charming. I wish the best in all endeavours and encourage everyone to visit!

The eco village is an absolute gem! Truly one of the nicest Worldpackers experiences we have had. We had such a perfect daily schedule and so much freedom within the work to choose what project we'd like to focus on. The location is stunning, the nature is so beautiful, and Angelo is such a lovely host. Strongly recommend this spot to anyone and everyone.

I had an amaaaazing time at the eco village Bamboo Farm 🥺🥺 the place its absolutely gorgeous, Angelo was a great host, always making sure we're ok, taking care of everything i needed to get a rabis vaccine after i got biten by a cat (not in the farm premises), cooked really good food, was fun and knowledgeable, the tasks were easy, we mostly did what we wanted and what we were comfortable with, there is not much to do around but just enjoying the place was enough for me. Expect bugs, you are in the middle of nature, and get some long pants and sleeve for the night, it can get pretty cold.

My experience at the eco village was amazing. It my first time volunteering with world packers and I am more than grateful for everything that I experienced. was a week full of immersion in the local culture and environment, learning about a sustainable way of living, and a variety of tasks. The place is beautiful and allows you to disconnect (and reconnect with yourself) and feel in peace. The host and local people were very welcoming and made us feel like home. Thank you so much for everything Angelo &co.!! 🤗
