It was a wonderful experience. You can cook delicious dishes with the good ingredients provided by the house. The work schedules are well organized and the days off are on alternate days of the week (according to demand and number of guests). Sèan is systematic with his work to serve the guests in the best way possible. We didn't communicate much because my English is still quite bad, but he was always very respectful and met my expectations. The island can be a little quiet for those who like more lively places (which is not my case). Thank you Sèan.

It was one of the best experiences I've had, I had the opportunity to develop some skills, improve and practice my English and also learn a little Spanish :) Brenda and Sean were very patient in explaining and teaching me how things worked. The island is spectacular, lots of places to visit and cycle. I was really surprised by this volunteering.

The guest house was the perfect spot for me and my husband to experience a charming Irish island and its historic culture. From the application process to our departure, we felt valued by the owner Seán. He was kind, patient, generous and made amusing, witty jokes when you least expected it. We loved our room, the nutritious food, access to bikes and the chance to meet delightful guests and volunteers from all over. Inishmore itself is a wonder! The mighty forts, magical ocean, serene landscape and comedic animals (wild bunnies) will keep you entertained for weeks. Míle buíochas Seán.

Seán is a respected local who has dedicated his life to teaching, as well as continually learning and experimenting himself. This unique aspect means he regularly asks feedback and have discussions about the work dynamic and volunteers, truly a great trait! This experience give volunteers all they need to be comfortable and live healthy while immersed in rural Irish life, surrounded by breathtaking attractions and quaint little scenes. Highly recommended for energetic, hands-on volunteers who are keen to have a "behind the scenes" peak into the hospitality industry. Thank you Seán!

This was my first time volunteering and I think I made the best decision by choosing Seán and his amazing Lodge. He is a very kind and attentive person, always asking if we needed something and if everything was okey. The team that I worked with was amazing, I made some real true friends, we explored the island together, practiced sports and went out to have fun. Inis Mor is an amazing place, I felt very connected to the nature, the landscapes were breathtaking and local people were so nice. I would absolutely recommend this experience to everyone, thank you so much for this opportunity!

Volunteering at the guest house was an incredible experience. Being on Inis Mór Island gave me the opportunity to immerse myself in Irish culture and increase my awareness of sustainability. I had the opportunity to improve my English through interactions with guests. The work felt light due to Brenda's positive leadership. Working with Sean was easy for me because I am a very responsible person, with a sense of urgency and teamwork. Sean is objective and makes his expectations clear, listens and offers suggestions. Sean wants the best experience for his guests and Volunteers.

My experience at the guest house can be summed up in two words: Nature and friends. The Lodge is remote, ideal for those seeking immersion in nature and tranquility. Sean, the host, is welcoming. Meals are provided, and tasks include preparing breakfast and cleaning rooms. Tasks may change as needed. The usual work is 5 hours but can vary. The internet is unstable. I enjoyed the company of friendly volunteers and caring for the cats, Midnight and Sylvester. This is great for learning about Irish culture and improving your English.

Seán is an attentive host. He always makes jokes and cares about your well-being. It was my first time as a volunteer and I don't think it could have been better! If you are looking for a beautiful, calm place where you can connect with nature, this is the ideal experience. If you are a digital nomad or like to be online all the time, you may have problems with your internet connection. Regardless, enjoy!
