Help me out at my farm (20 km south from Vienna)

This was maybe my favorite worldpackers experience so far, Chris is an awesome host, he made us feel very welcomed from the beginning, gave us suggestions on things to see around the area and would get us anything we wanted from the supermarket. The work in the vineyard can get boring but we were also helping with other tasks. The hours of work are respected and you can meet a lot of locals. The only things that could be improved are to explain things better so to avoid misunderstandings, and to have more safety with tools, I didn't get hurt but I came close a couple of times.

Thx Guglielmo for being maybe the best of your hosts. About cutting in the vine yards, some people like the nature and some people not. I am happy that cutting is done.

About tasks and future work experience, always make sure that you are save!

As you know I asked mostly do you feel comfortable and do you want to do the some small work with the forklift or with a electric drill. If you say yes I want, I can it’s hard to see for any host if you have problems.so pls say problems instantly.

My experience at Christoph's house was overall very positive! Everything was as described in the post: food, work accommodation, etc. Christoph is a very good host. I would recommend it a lot. Beautiful experience. Thanks to everyone.

My experience here was very good. I spend 3 weeks cutting the wine yard. Chris is very kind and make us feel like at home. We had lot of spare time to visit Vienna and do other activities (hiking, skiing, shooting …)

This volunteering was really good ! Chris is very nice and convenient. He picked us up at the station, bring us to hike or to train station to Vienna. He is also very kind. The job was good; we had to work every morning in the vineyard to cut it. It was fun to learn. All the afternoon were free time. The food is also very good. Overall, it was a great experience !

Enis und ich hatten eine richtig, richtig schöne Zeit bei Chris. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und Chris hat uns das Gefühl gegeben, dass wir uns wie zu Hause bei ihm fühlen können. In unserer Zeit bei ihm haben wir einiges über das Arbeiten mit Wein gelernt und hatten auch einen sehr guten Zusammenhalt mit den anderen Freiwilligen. Wir haben z.B. zusammen Dart gespielt, jeden Tag gemeinsam gekocht und Christ hat uns zu einem örtlichen Fest mitgenommen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr auf jeden Fall sehr genossen und Christ ist einfach ein sehr freundlicher und chilliger Typ. Bis bald (:

La casa impecable, completamente limpia y ordenada. Tuvimos la oportunidad de colaborar con él, aportando nuestra mano de obra para arreglar, limpiar e incluso aprender juntos. Desde principio a fin, Christoph ha sido un anfitrión excepcional. Siempre muy atento y paciente con nosotros, asegurándose de que no nos faltara nada. Además, nos mostró la belleza de Viena tanto de día como de noche, compartiendo su conocimiento y enseñándonos cosas nuevas en todo momento. Y eso sí, ¡la diversión nunca faltó! En resumen, un gran anfitrión con quién compartir una experiencia inolvidable en Viena.

Desde el momento que nos fuimos ya hechabamos demenos a Chris y a los perros, a sido una experiencia de 10.Chris se a preocupado en todo momento de que estemos cómodos y que no nos falte nada de comer. Hemos aprendido muchísimo con el, teniendo la oportunidad de conducir tractores y maquinas que nunca antes me habría imaginado poder utilizar. La verdad que Chris sabe muchísimo y se puede hablar con el de cualquier cosa y eso hace la estancia muy amena, me a encantado poder formar parte de su familia, tiene unos padres maravillosos y unos perros encantadores! Me encantó conocer a Chris, es una persona fantastica con ganas de conocer a gente y divertirse.
