Enis und ich hatten eine richtig, richtig schöne Zeit bei Chris. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und Chris hat uns das Gefühl gegeben, dass wir uns wie zu Hause bei ihm fühlen können. In unserer Zeit bei ihm haben wir einiges über das Arbeiten mit Wein gelernt und hatten auch einen sehr guten Zusammenhalt mit den anderen Freiwilligen. Wir haben z.B. zusammen Dart gespielt, jeden Tag gemeinsam gekocht und Christ hat uns zu einem örtlichen Fest mitgenommen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr auf jeden Fall sehr genossen und Christ ist einfach ein sehr freundlicher und chilliger Typ. Bis bald (:

Chris is a super nice host, very patient and loves to show nice places around! You will get a lot of food, I was blessed with the chance to try a lot of amazing local food made by Chris friends. We all went to the Carnival together and it was super fun. Regarding to the work, if the whether is good you are going to work in the vineyard, if not, you are going to organize the garage. It's a lot of work, sometimes boring, but Chris makes things nicer since he is always in a good mood, the other volunteers were amazing, Nikola, Jale and Enis made all difference <3

I stayed with Chris for about a month and we had a lot of fun. He's a very nice and chill character and there's a lot of flexibility to create your own schedule. The work isn't demanding or tiring. The place is well-connected by train and there are a lot of fun options for activities around.

My experience with Cris was spectacular. From the start, she treated me like family, picking me up at night and giving me my own room. The work, though sometimes hard, was interesting—learning about vineyards, winemaking, and house maintenance. Daily hours were under 5, with weekends off. Cris often took us to Vienna or hidden gems for hiking. When I had to leave early due to personal issues, she was understanding. I never imagined such a kind host. If you get the chance, don't miss this opportunity—Vienna is beautiful and well-connected!

This was maybe my favorite worldpackers experience so far, Chris is an awesome host, he made us feel very welcomed from the beginning, gave us suggestions on things to see around the area and would get us anything we wanted from the supermarket. The work in the vineyard can get boring but we were also helping with other tasks. The hours of work are respected and you can meet a lot of locals. The only things that could be improved are to explain things better so to avoid misunderstandings, and to have more safety with tools, I didn't get hurt but I came close a couple of times.

Thx Guglielmo for being maybe the best of your hosts. About cutting in the vine yards, some people like the nature and some people not. I am happy that cutting is done.

About tasks and future work experience, always make sure that you are save!

As you know I asked mostly do you feel comfortable and do you want to do the some small work with the forklift or with a electric drill. If you say yes I want, I can it’s hard to see for any host if you have problems.so pls say problems instantly.

My experience at Christoph's house was overall very positive! Everything was as described in the post: food, work accommodation, etc. Christoph is a very good host. I would recommend it a lot. Beautiful experience. Thanks to everyone.

My experience here was very good. I spend 3 weeks cutting the wine yard. Chris is very kind and make us feel like at home. We had lot of spare time to visit Vienna and do other activities (hiking, skiing, shooting …)

This volunteering was really good ! Chris is very nice and convenient. He picked us up at the station, bring us to hike or to train station to Vienna. He is also very kind. The job was good; we had to work every morning in the vineyard to cut it. It was fun to learn. All the afternoon were free time. The food is also very good. Overall, it was a great experience !
