Our 10 days volunteering at the funky hostels of crazy girl Mantra were an absolute pleasure!! Once we had arrived, her and the thoughtful co-host Dejan instantly made us feel like home! As we worked with them in low season, our tasks were mainly housekeeping, small reception work and painting murals on the hostel walls. We immediately made friends with our co-workers and as Mantra is doing a weekly Karaoke Night, Hostel Dinner and Horror Movie Night it was an ultimate blast. Mantra herself is a very confident, direct and welcoming person and it's so fun spending time with her! Tysm! ❤️

Mantra is so welcoming and inclusive, she makes a real effort to ensure her volunteers and guests are making the most of their time in Langkawi through activities and organised social events at the hostel. I was sad to leave!

Mantra is such an amazing host, always engaging and makes me feel at home. What stands out is her confidence as a person which is inspiring to see. I get to learn a lot from her and see how hostel business is about. Moreover she always strive to make me feel included which I really appreciate about her.

Super nice place. Mantra was really nice with us and super easy to talk with. We had a nice stay painting and enjoying the island. Also having fun with other travellers. Would recomend it!!

I had such a beautiful time at the hostel Lions & Wolves. If you are searching for a chill vibe, good moments and connect with people, this is the best place. Mantra has a beautiful soul and gonna make your time there even more better.

Mantra (the host) is a phenomenal woman. She is very straightforward, sincere and funny. The location of the hostel is perfect — literally 5 minutes to the beach and tasks are very easy and chill. Just be responsible, on time and straightforward, and you'll be happy :) also, it's a great opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world.

My time at the hostel Wolves was amazing. The team is very friendly, the tasks are well organized, and the atmosphere is great. The schedule was respected, so I had time to enjoy Langkawi. I liked that there were always group activities and many places to eat nearby. I recommend this experience to any volunteer. Thank you for everything, Mantra! 🙌

One of the best experience <3 Tasks are easy, the hostel has great location, Langkawi is an amazing island and it's locals and visitors are amazing too. Mantra (the hostel owner) is the best out of the best <3

It was great, was meant to spend 1 week and ended up staying for 2. Mantra is really nice, met some lovely people, all good, would recommend for anyone going to Langkawi! I did Social Media bth and 3 hours of reception on night shifts, quite chill!

I really enjoyed every single time. This place is very special and Matra is amazing person always think about others and keep offering activities and involved us as much as possible. I truly recommend it 👌. I meet very nice people and learn a lot.
