I can recommend volunteering at Chango Mango one 100% if you like contact with international travellers, bar work, and healthy lifestyle vibes. The work is very well organized by Maren and Jack, + you'll have lots of fun with the other volunteers!!! La Ventana tourism is mostly centered around water sports but there is SOOOO MUCH to do, like snorkeling, hiking, ...the community of international travellers (mostly US citizens) and locals is WAUW. Hitch-hiking is so easy here to get around and VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED to get to know the many inspiring and interesting people that La Ventana hosts <3

Great experience working at the hotel! Nice vibe, so accessible to beautiful nature all around! Jack, the manager, was very caring and a great person to work with. Rooms were great as well and having access to water gear was a huge plus!

🇫🇷 Amazing experience! The team is super cool, Jack, the manager, is really attentive to your needs and a very nice guy. The location is absolutely perfect for spending a month in the sun sailing and diving! In short, I loved my experience, just go for it!!

I had a really great time in the hotel. Maren, the owner, is so nice and flexible. We are well accompanied, I felt supported and listened. The town is cute, the hostel is nice, people who work there are nice… Don't think twice and apply in the hotel you won't regret it! Thank you again Maren and Hugo for everything!!

I love my time working at Chango Mango, Maren is super enjoyable to work for and very understanding when I needed to switch shifts or take certain time off. I loved the community in La Ventana and felt welcomed right from the start. I would highly recommend this position!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it couldn't have been better! Maren and Hugo were very kind and communicative hosts. The work is very clear and fun, I loved learning how to make new drinks. The staff as a whole was great to work with; both the cooks and the other volunteers felt like family :)

Maren and Hugo were amazing hosts! They made me feel right at home and they are so helpful if you need anything. The hotel is beautiful and the environment is so welcoming and all the staff is very friendly! I got to practice my Spanish and made close friendships. It was a really great first volunteer experience! 100% recommend!

The communication was really great from the beginning. Everything around the tasks was really clear and explained in a handbook, which gave you a lot of independence to figure things out for yourself. Maren really gave me the feeling I could ask her anything, call or text her anytime. The tasks, mainly bar work, check ins and check outs was fun and gave me the chance to socialize with different international travelers.
