Had such a great time here with Isara and Piriya. They were both very kind and supported me the whole time. I was able to immerse myself in some very rich and authentic culture which was Lovley. They also made my time very fun with plenty of activities and things to do! Another thing that was great here was the project, my dietary restrictions were extremely taken care of and the meals were delicious. The clay house i stayed in was also very comfortable, nice and private and a Lovley bathroom! I can definitely say i thoroughly enjoyed my time here, was a great experience.

The experience with Isara was very good. He taught us a little meditation and living in the present. Unfortunately, we were sick the 5 days we were there and couldn't do many things. Despite that, Isara was very understanding with our situation and we were able to rest those days. He was always asking how we felt, giving us support and brought us the project to the room. We are very grateful for this gesture, Isara is a very good person. We hope to be able to return in the future and do more things for this project. Also thank you to Net, he was really comunicative :)

We had an incredible experience with Isara at his home in the project. His beautiful space was the perfect setting for a week of meditation and work. Unfortunately, we weren't feeling well during our stay, but Isara was extremely kind and supportive. He and the nurse took great care of us, helping us recover. While we could, we helped with Maha's farm, learned to cook Thai the project and helped to build a new hall in the village temple. We highly recommend his place!

It was a really cool experience. We got to meet the locals, completely away from the tourist crowds. The hosts are super nice and helpful. Since you're in the middle of the jungle, you should expect some insects in the accommodation. I actually expected a bit more work than there actually was, but no complaints!

Net is young and ambitious, open to feedback, and actively improving the project. The community is inspiring, with a network of people dedicated to sustainability. Isara's meditation lessons were practical and helped me stay focused. I worked in the restaurant, learning recipes and basic Thai, and in the project, planting seeds, playing with kids, and building a bamboo bed. The entire village welcomed us with open arms, making us feel at home and part of their community. And I highly recommend Moo—he would love if you stayed longer to help with his projects.

Volunteering at the organic the project was a humbling and transformative experience. From cutting bamboo to create vegetable beds, planting seeds and trees, and helping prepare for a vibrant local New Year celebration, every task connected me to the land. We shared fresh, homemade meals, sometimes picking our own the project and eggs for breakfast—it was the most authentic experience imaginable. This journey taught me gratitude, hard work, and the beauty of simple living. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity and the welcoming community that made it unforgettable.

This project was so amazing. After being in Ban Tha Mafai Wan for a week, I felt like I learned so much. They taught me a lot about meditation, I got to help in the community temple, help out with planting the project, hanging with locals and immersing in the culture. The hosts were also the nicest people. Every day we started the day with meditation, continued to farm work for about 2-3 hours, and then lunch. After lunch we sometimes did a walking meditation or went to watch sunset a bit later. Then dinner and free time. I sometimes felt like I had a lot of free time.

Our time with Isra and Piriya was truly unforgettable. You will learn a lot about mindfulness here as it is well integrated . We tried a bunch of different activities with local organic farmers such as rice farming , buffalo herding and gardening. We also went sightseeing in the local mountains. They are very accommodating of any dietary restrictions, veggies, vegans, peanut allergy etc… For an experience of local Thai culture we would definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful experience and learned a lot of things about Thai culture and ways of working that I didn't know before. The whole village welcomed me with a smile and was happy to see me. Everyone is very respectful of each other. I highly recommend this experience, which for me is one of my best travel experiences.
