The experience

Join our team at our Hostel & Surf Paradise! We are looking for passionate volunteers to collaborate at our cozy hotel. You will be responsible for domestic tasks and welcoming our guests, all in a paradise-like setting. Additionally, you’ll be expected to complete tasks assigned by the supervisor, uphold the values of our place, and maintain a high level of professionalism in all your interactions.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Beginner Spanish or Beginner English

Under 40 years old

Program Details

The volunteer is designed to offer a rewarding experience for both volunteers and our guests. We seek committed individuals who wish to contribute to the smooth operation of our hotel while enjoying a unique natural and cultural environment.
Volunteers become part of our team and are responsible for various essential tasks for the hotel's operation. The program is based on cooperation and mutual respect. In exchange for their help, volunteers receive accommodation and access to the kitchen, allowing them to prepare their own meals. Shifts and responsibilities are organized equitably to ensure a harmonious and productive environment.

Activities & Shift

-Cleaning common areas such as the reception, dining room, and lounge areas.
-Basic room maintenance, including changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, and general tidying.
-Preparation of breakfasts for guests if required.
-Welcoming guests and assisting with check-in/check-out procedures.
-Providing information about hotel facilities and local activities.
-Ensuring guests feel welcome and comfortable during their stay.

Rules

-Punctuality: Must adhere to assigned schedules and be available during their shifts.
-Respect and Professionalism: It is essential to maintain a respectful attitude towards team members and guests.
-Use of Facilities: Volunteers have access to the kitchen and other common areas but must keep them clean and orderly after use.
-Communication: Any issues or concerns should be communicated immediately to the supervisor to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
-Task Completion: Volunteers must complete all assigned tasks during their shift and notify the supervisor of any difficulties.
